My family and I visited WDW from May 2-10 (AWESOME TIME!!!!) and on the 4th, my DD 3 and I attended the "My Perfectly Princess Tea Party" at the Grand Floridian (Wonderful event!!
). As the "princesses" and parents were waiting to be announced for entry to the tea party, we noticed some WDW staff wandering around the roped off area where we were waiting outside the beautiful Garden View Lounge. Then, one of the staff members approached me and my DD and asked if we would like to be part of CBS' Early Show broadcast from MK the next morning/May 5th!!!!
Needless to say, I said yes and they took down our names, resort location and number of people in our family...We met with the other chosen princesses at the MK main gate bright and early the next morning. We were given free admission to MK for the day and were escorted by WDW staff up Main Street and to the Rose Garden for the broadcast of David Price's (CBS The Early Show) weather reports live from MK!!! First, we got to watch the beginning of the broadcast segments with the characters and David Price. Then the princesses joined him and then they allowed families to gather on camera for the final segment! We hooped and hollered on camera and then shouted out "And here's what's going on in your corner!!!" as they went off camera for the nationwide local weather reports...Real TV stuff...Cue cards, director with our instructions, sooooo cool!!!! David Price was so friendly and great with the little girls as well! It was so exciting to be part of the early morning ongoings of MK on May 5th...We even had to be a bit quiet, as there were press people set up EVERYWHERE and live broadcasts were occurring all over... This even surely made our already magical trip even MORE magical
and we will never forget this special treat!
And, all as a result of a little girl's tea party!!!!
