WHAT WHAT!!!!!!!
I can't believe how easy that was. We were supposed to stay 2 nights in a standard view studio at Kidani before we check into a two bedroom savanna view for a week in August. So I was reading another thread about how others have been getting in, so I decided just for kicks to call and see if we could get in. And low and behold, we were able to book Aug. 28 and 29 in a lake view studio. And get this, all view were available, (standard and MK). I am shocked. I thought we would have to wait years before all the hoopla died down. I never thought we would be able to get in 6 months out, and opening month to boot!!!! I have never stayed at Contemporary before and it has been a childhood dream of mine! We don't own there yet, but after this trip, who knows!!!!

Congrats! I am so tempted to try for a day or 2 out of the 14 days we'll be at Disney this summer but I don't want to move for the third time. Maybe next time....

Cool! I tried soooo hard to convince DH that we should tack on a day at BLT to the beginning of our 7 nights at AKL in August ... but he refuses to resort hop! Heck, I couldn't even get him to agree to a studio for the first night of our trip to save points (and we arrive around 5:00pm) ... he wants one room and one room only for the duration.

Great news - now, if you wouldn't mind passing some of that good luck to me for April 1st, when I have to phone and try to get a 2-bed and a studio at BLT. I am happy to take any view available, though, so am hoping I might be in luck

My DH is the same, won't resort hop. We will be at OKW for 9 nights in Oct and I figured switching wouldn't be a big deal for such a long trip but it was a no go. We hopped last Dec and DH said never again. Hopefully our next trip we can get to try BLT. Have fun!

Oh wow, almost exactly the same countdown We are really looking forward to MNSSHP also - went twice in 2006 and loved it

Just seen you are staying at OKW - we have a reservation there at the moment but hoping to switch to AKV for 10 nights, then BLT for our final night. If not, we will stick with OKW probably and may well see you around.
