We were in WDW April 23-28th. We stayed onsite and the only time we left the area was to go to disney springs, to get a dinner at panera bread and one morning running down the road to a TJMAXX.
I just got a charge on my AMX for six tolls the morning I did some shopping. I left the hotel at 9am to get to TJMaxx at 9:30. The toll says I exited the turnpike at 8:20am so that was my first clue something was amiss.
THEN...I started researching where these toll exits were and they were all in MIAMI!
So be careful. We always rent from Alamo so we can opt to not pay a daily fee and just pay cash at the tolls. We get receipts and are uber careful. We were shocked to get the charge and I just figured I had somehow missed a video toll while shopping in the store district but hubby called BS and I'm glad he did.
Alamo refunded the money and said the toll folks had obviously made a mistake. So be careful and be willing to challenge these charges.
