We got a PIN!

Called WDW a few days ago and asked if there was a PIN or code in mine or my mom's name - we're going 10/29 - 11/5.

Well, there was a PIN! The CM was awesome, and gave me ideas of hotels and rates, but didn't know how much the PIN was for.

Last night, my mom gets home and there's an email waiting for her and the PIN is for 40% off! I called early this morning and got a quote for Animal Kingdom Lodge - 8 day park hopper (no waterparks) and basic DDP. Total cost for the two of us is $2771.36. I'm pretty sure this is a good rate...I'd love some reassurance this is a great rate!! Especially before I try to talk my mom into it

thats great I have not seen a 40% code recently released,,,,,
sure earlier in the year but it expired in March

It looks like they gave you a 15% discount on the whole package and not 40%. The total price for the stay for just the two of you is $3266.40. Now if the discount is off the price of the room only portion of it and not including the meal plan ,it probably is 40%. Without reading the exact wording on the offer it is hard to say what they are discounting. You are saving about $498.00 so the question is "Is that a good deal for you?" I think if you are going to stay there even if there is no discount then definately saving $498. is a good deal.

Have you heard of a discount off the whole package before? I thought the discounts only applied to the rooms?
