We just received a discount code yesterday in the mail. I would have totally just thrown it out if I had not been here on the DIS. I had no idea they sent codes out and when I was looking at the postcard and reading about how we could save 25-35% off a Disney resort hotel, I'm thinking, "how, there is no pin?" after searching the postcard, I found a code above my name and address highlighted in yellow. I would have never even given it another thought and chucked it. THANK YOU to everyone here with such awesome information and help!!! This is perfect timing too. We are making our reservations in the next few days. I just can't say enough about the DIS members!!!!

I got a PIN in the mail as well. It seems strange that it came in my husband's name, considering my account on the Disney website is in my name and my husband is only listed in the family and friends section.

Unfortunately it is only for 2011 dates and we aren't going until spring 2012.

I got one by email, it's not for our dates of course! PIN offer ends about 2 weeks before we check in. Go figure. But, can I give it to someone that can use it? I"m sure theres got to be somebody on the DIS that can use it. Or since it's adressed to the us are we the only ones that can use it?

Pinned offers are non transferrable. If you go onto the site to book or check availability with that pin they ask for the number, last name and zip code.

Too much of a hassle to change the reservations and would lose our arrival day at MK. Oh well, at least I was lucky enough to get something and we won't eat as much!!

We are arriving Oct 22 as well and (so far) have booked onenight-room only for the 22nd and then we will re-check on the 23rd. It's really not much of a hassle when you consider the amount of $ we're saving. You could even apply that 25% off to your one-night reservation.

No code for us. I would drop free dining like a hot potato if we could upgrade to WL for a couple hundred more!

marivaid: We have 2 rooms booked with 5 adults. We would also have to buy one day passes so we could go to MK on October 22 which would be about $450 for 5 adults. Our room discount is $430. Free dining would be $1050. The difference is $170. Plus we could easily spend less than $34.99 per day per person or $175 per day.

We really don't need all those extra desserts after each meal!!! All 5 of us are trying to watch our weight. I checked out the menus and I averaged less than $150 a day. Last year we had free dining and we wasted a lot of food.
