In regards to all the hoopla this week over some of the negative posts offered by CM(s) and fellow DVCers, I felt the urge to post our experience from last weeks trip at SSR.
I made the comment to DW how I felt that CMs seemed very friendly to us, even knowing we were DVC owners. And that comment was made days before WDWzues post was made. I still standby that comment. It seemed to be an even friendlier atmosphere than trips before.
There were a couple of CMs that were not so friendly, but not somuch as to report them. I have only had one CM who I had to encounter at VWL on several trips that I tried my best to avoid. But I never reported him. He is no longer there. Could have just been the wrong job for him.
Point of this is....I got the feeling that most CMs seem to appreciate DVC owners. And not just the CMs and SSR. If I were a CM I would realize DVCers are longterm guests, therefore, they would continue support for my company. Do they all feel that way? Certainly not. I have my own customers who I would rather not have to deal with all the time. But they are my customers, so I try to give them satisfaction within reasonable means.
And I dont bring this up trying keep a dead horse alive. I just felt with all the negativity floating around, and seeing how some of the new, just purchased DVCers are getting concerned, I would try to put my 2 cents worth in. I avoided the other posts on purpose, response wise anyway.
This is for CMs.........thank you for helping to make our times in WDW magical. It is an escape from the real world, and you help to make those escapes come true. Without you, there would be no Walt Disney World.
