We go shop?

I know that I have seen people on these boards that have used this service, but the search is slow and I have no patience today. We leave on Monday, and I would like to submit a list.

My main question is: What if they arrive with the groceries before we do? Will someone at SSR put the milk, etc. in cold storage? Since we are using ME, I don't really know what time to expect us to arrive at SSR.

Any pros or cons would be appreciated.

I order Wednesday for this Saturday - got told they were filled - they will try to work me in - but not guaranteeds...

sunday is worst than Saturday.

There business has gotten very very busy. They are a great service. They call you before they come. Good luck trying to get a spot.

When we used the service, we told them when we were expecting to arrive. They requested we call them we were checked into our room.

When we called they were out shopping for our groceries and arrived to our room shortly after.

Great service....used them twice now and will use them again!

Thanks everyone! I emailed them yesterday and got a response in my inbox this morning. Looks like we're good to go. We're arriving on Monday, so I guess that isn't as busy a day for them.

Spiceycat....do I remember correctly from another post that you're staying at SSR? We are too....maybe our paths will cross while we're there is that's the case.

yes, my first time at SSR!!!

they called me last night - great news for me - they can't come on Saturday - but on Sunday - they can come.

Since the hours for the MK have changed for Saturday and it is open later - and 2 Spectro Magic Parades - I am going to the later one - and sleeping late on Sunday - works perfect for me!!!

no embassing moments at the airport - I hate WDW toilet paper -so I bring my own..... I also have to bring a liquid detergent (I am allergic to the powders) - they are buying both!!!

Yes - he say his business has really taken off since ME - and that they are turning away people - they just can't do everything. His wife (a stay at home wife and mother) was the main person doing the grocery list and delivering.
but with so many orders he is considering adding people.

I told him that this board (and a few others) thought their service was the best!!!

So I would place my orders at least a week before hand.

DVC members have a tendency (or I do) to forget that even the WDW resort people like to have breakfast in their rooms. All the deluxe and moderate resorts have the refrigerator in their rooms these days. So yes I can see where a reliability service like their has taken off.

Based on SpiceyCat's post about almost being turned away, I too submitted my order last night and had confirmation this morning. Our big item is we all like the Flavorsplash water by Aquafina(a Pepsi company) so we are getting a bunch of that in addition to breakfast and snack foods. I could use a personal shopper here at home too
