It's a boy. That evens it out. Now we are stuck on names. We only were looking at girl names and now this threw a wrench in things. My son couldn't be happier. The girls actually took it well. While DH and I were waiting to get out ultrasound we saw a family leaving and their little girl was mad and said "I don't want another little brother, I wanted a sister!" then she huffed out the door.
This was before we went and we just laughed. We were waiting to get that response when we got home and we didn't get it. My girls were very good.
I still have to go for a higher level ultrasound next week. Just want to make sure everything is good. Please send some pixie dust.

Congrats!!! Good luck deciding on a name, we had a terrible time both times. With DS2, we were still torn between two when he was born. I had a c-section under general anesthesia, and when I finally woke up later on, I asked DH what his name was. DH said, "He looks like Isaac, nothing like Jacob", so Isaac it was.

I'm glad you didn't have a fall out from the girls!

We went with traditional Irish names and DD's was a family name.

thank you all for the kind words. I am still trying to get off of work for thursday night. I really don't want to have to go to work after the ultrasound. I work on the mother/baby unit. Well I may just have to put my nurse cap on and leave personal issues at home. I just know that I will be exhausted as I am having a hard time sleeping. I can't believe how much is going through my head. I need to stop. I didn't work in this area when I had my other kids. I guess too much knowledge is not good. I will keep you all posted.
Still don't have any ideas on names.

Went for the ultrasound. things looked good. He wouldn't move so they couldn't see all they needed to see, so I have to go back next friday. Thanks for all the pixie dust. The doctor kept saying "with your age" I wanted to throw up. believe me I know my age, thanks.
Well he looked good and even waved to us.
