This is my first official post. I had always thought about joining the DIS boards, but even though we love Disney and are veteran Old Key Westers, we didn't own, so I always just kept my thoughts to myself.
Well, we had thought about buying several different times in the past but never bit the bullet. I finally gave the credit card number on Thursday for Saratoga Springs. We were even debating if now was the right time, since we already have vacations planned thru 2006 and wondered if we should pay before we can use. We have had that mentality before and the only thing that has happened by waiting is the price has gone up and the incentives have gone down. The other plus for us (besides the 1500) was that we honeymooned at the Disney Villas right there where Phase II is being built. We will be married 15 years next June, so I think it is appropriate that we own at that particular location.
Now I am going crazy trying to figure out if we can possibly fit a Disney vacation in next year. Also, I look at the points and because there is 5 in our family, I can see an add on once we get this paid off. Our 4 year old puts us in that 2 bedroom category.
