Welcome, everyone! This is my first trip report because it's our first trip. I've been trying to talk my husband into a Disney trip since our oldest was very young due to his love of Mickey Mouse. My sweet husband didn't want to deal with lines, crowds, or heat and had his heart set on a cruise. We did our first Disney cruise 10 years ago and went on 4 total until 2020. So, now our oldest is 13 and our younger son is 7. We finally got the trip that we had been asking for. This trip was split into two parts since my husband really wanted some beach time. We spent two nights in St. Augustine (May 30-31) and then checked into All Star Sports on June 1-7. We had the free quick service dining for this trip and loved it. We also had Park Hopper tickets that we could have done without. We drove from Upstate, SC and left around 2am on May 30th. Here's the overview and I'll post each day separately.

May 30 - Vilano Beach
May 31 - Vilano Beach/St. Augustine
June 1 - All Star Sports/ Typhoon Lagoon
June 2 - Epcot
June 3 - Hollywood Studios
June 4 - Magic Kingdom
June 5 - Animal Kingdom
June 6 - Magic Kingdom
June 7 - Drive Home

I'll start with our first Disney day. We left St. Augustine around 8:30am and drove the 2 hours to All Star Sports. We checked in and our room was ready and waiting for us. We took our stuff in and checked out the room before changing clothes and filling up our mugs. We drove to Typhoon Lagoon and were there before noon. After finding a spot to drop our stuff we jumped right into the wave pool. Before our trip, I had fixed daily snack bags for our boys so that they wouldn't have to stop and go buy a snack all day long these came in handy at Typhoon Lagoon. We didn't end up using any of snack credits this day but did get lunch there at Leaning Palms. My 7 year old is a big eater so the kid's meals that came with the dining plan were not always enough food for him. I happily shared my meal with him many times during the trip. After the wave pool, we rode the body slides and the family raft ride.

After a long, hot day at Typhoon Lagoon, we left around 4 to go back to the resort for showers and a little rest before dinner. For dinner, we took the bus to Disney Springs to eat at Polite Pig. The food was great and was a great value for the dining credit. Disney Springs was incredibly crowded so we left right after dinner. We took the bus back to the resort to get some rest before our first park day at Epcot.
