this past saturday. The breakfast was at Circus and was alot of fun. We got lots of time with the characters. My 2 year old is Thing 2's newest best friend:hug: It was a nice relaxing breakfast before the movie. I know the movie is getting slammed but I thought there were some really funny parts. Most of it was over my kids heads (2, 4, & 6) but I'm glad we did it. The movie was a nice break after 8 days in all the parks.

Thank you for sharing. After reading reviews and seeing the trailers on TV I decided I still want to see it.

Glad you enjoyed it! My son got the postcard and tried to BEG me to take the trip down there!

So you saw the movie and had breakfst at US/IOA??? How did you get invited to that? We are going to be there this Saturday and Sunday and then one day the following week, and that sounds like fun. can you give me more info?thanks!

I think the breakfast/movie was a one time event on 11/22 and I received an invitation as an annual passholder.

ILuvTinkerBell -- yeah, this was a one-time event, however, Confisco's usually does a character breakfast where you can meet the Cat in the Hat, Grinch, and Thing 1 and Thing 2. It's about $14 or $15 for adults and I think they have a lesser price for children. It's a buffet, and the interactions with the characters made it worth the money. Not many people go to the character breakfast, meaning you can get more time with the characters. I think they only do these on weekends, so you should be in luck! :) Then, you can always catch a showing of the movie at CityWalk if you want. ;)

I can't wait to try that breakfast at Confisco's. My son will be in heaven!

Glad u enjoyed the movie and the breakfast thanks for sharing

How is the food at the Cat in the Hat breakfast? Do you need reservations or can you just show up? Do kids under 3 eat free like they do at WDW?

Thanks

I have got to do the character breakfast when I come down with the kids next year. I wish I'd done it when I was down with my wife. It sounds like a blast.

I can't wait to try it either. It sounds like you really get good time with the characters.

Does anyone know if the Grinch still appears at the character breakfast? His interactions at the breakfasts sounded hilarious, but I am wondering if he is still doing the b'fast since he's doing his bit at Suess Landing for Grinchmas.

The food was fine, not gourmet by any stretch, but edible:D My 2 y/o was free and I paid for my 4 & 6 y/o's. I'm pretty sure though, that this was a one time thing to promote the opening of the movie. I have read that there is a character breakfast at Confiscos but I know nothing about it.

No Grinch that I know of. Reports say Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and 2 and Sam I am.
