We bought a pre-lit xmas tree last year. I *swear* it was supposed to be if one light burned out the rest would stay lit. Well, we set it up last night and one section is off. DH checks and double checks and they are all plugged in, but the one section still won't light. So, of course, we're aggravated to say the least. We're going through some of the ornaments and find one that lights up--by plugging in to one of the light sockets. So of course last year we just took the ornament off without replacing the light. So, the circuit is not complete. 
Argh. It 's going to take forever to find the one socket that doesn't have a bulb in it.
