We did it!!

We just purchased 270 points at Bay Lake Tower with an April UY. I still can't believe that we did it...we have been going back and forth for over a year, and last night, we decided that it is time to just go ahead and do it!! Paperwork should be here in a week. Now we get to decide where to stay for our 5 night...we already have a trip planned for August 2nd - 12th..so we are hoping to switch the last five nights over to one of the 1 BR villas. Any suggestions on which we should stay at - BWV, BCV, AKV (although this one might be hard at 7 months out?)..and there's also Wilderness Lodge Villas? We have never stayed at Board Walk, Beach Club, or Wilderness Lodge..we stayed at AKL last year.

Another question..where do you get your image for your DVC in your signature??

I understand that it would be better use of points but Saratoga Springs and the location just doesn't appeal to us. So that's why I pick the 5 nights free stay instead.

You can call Member services and make a ressie now. I bought 160 points in November and took the 3 free nights because we are going in Premier Season (my 2 DD's are dancing at Disney during April break) and the points during that season are astronomical!! OMGosh!! So we had a studio booked at the BW and changed it over to a 1 bedroom for the week and saved 34 points that we got to bank!!!

We had no problem booking it at the BW and that was only 5 months out and we got 7 all of our seven days. Some of the days we have booked are during Easter week too and they still had availability (these dates are blacked out for the buy 4/get3 free nights)

I prefer the BW, but you should choose the 1 resort you always wanted to stay at and go there. You could always do a split stay too. We have done that 3 times already and its a great way to get to sample all the other resorts.
