Just gave our guide our downpayment this afternoon for 160 points with AKV as our home resort. We took the tour on Thursday, decided we were definitely going to go directly through Disney on Saturday, and now we are just waiting for our new member info from DVC. We've been doing research for almost a year now and we are SO excited now that we've finally pulled the trigger.

DH and I just added-on 100 points at AKV and my brother just purchased 160 points as well yesterday!!! We have been DVC members for 8 years now (Vero Beach) and have NEVER regretted it!!!

CONGRATULATIONS !!! I will be joining you in doing the happy dance. My DH just gave me the OK to do a 50 pts add on at the AKV. We already own at BWV so he did not think we really needed the extra 100 pts. Well I got him to agree on 50 so we could stay there every other year. It's not the 100 pts I wanted but it's something and I will not complain. I am just happy to have some pts at AKV, I just love that resort.
