We put down the deposit today. Actually we charged it to our Disney Visa, so we'll get a % back as well. Now we just are waiting fot the FedEx man in the big truck to bring the box with all of the paperwork.

Thanks to all of you who have gone before us and posted your questions and repsonses on these boards. I have been quietly reading them for a few days now. They have been very helpful.

Now it will be on to planing our first ever trip to WDW! Yipee!

Where to stay? Where to eat? Which resort to stay at? Wow, so many questions. How exciting!

We have been members for almost a year now and I think we are more excited and passionate about our DVC membership now, then when we bought.

We bought in on Monday, actually. In talking to our guide last night (he called to give us our Member #), our paperwork STILL hasn't been shipped out. He says they are VERY backed up, so don't be surprised if it takes Mr. Fedex til the middle of next week for your stuff (he said we should see ours by early next week) to show.

We chose SSR, but are hoping for a West Coast resort to be built. We will probably stay at our home resort first, then choose a new one each time we visit until we've seen them all. The Boardwalk looks like fun, so it will probably be our second stop.

Our guide is out of the office til Monday so we're waiting to hear back what the hold up is.

We just purchased this past January and we received our member cards yesterday! I can not wait until I book our first trip!
