:goodvibes So at first I was kind of bummed about our decision. We were supposed to go the first week of June in 2012. But then last night I started reading more about the Fantasyland Expansion being complete in 2013. so then I thought, what, we're going to go and look at everything we CAN'T do when we can wait and do all the new things ? So, we decided to put it off and wait till June of 2013 ! :cool1:

and yes, I am getting excited already !! haha!! I'm looking forward to hopefully eating in Gaston's and riding the new Snow White ride ! :banana:

Anyone else putting off their trip until the expansion is complete ? Is it to early for the "Who's Going in 2013 " thread ?? :laughing:

I know it must have been hard to push back your trip a year, but just think, now you have another year to plan! :thumbsup2 I think most of us Disers enjoy the planning phase! When you are there, experiencing the new Fantasyland you will be happy that you waited.

We are waiting too. Just had a baby and I also have, shall we say a "high energy" 3 year old that doesn't always listen (but is getting better!). My husband just got a new job after being out of work for awhile, so we have a few credit card bills to pay and we need to get our budget under control. I am thinking May 2013.

We are planning for April 2013, although we may end up going in 2012 too, but doing the other parks - not MK, and check out the soon to be open Legoland.

We are going in 2013 instead of 2012 because of the Fantasyland expansion! Our first trip EVER is this May (85 days), but I'm already planning a Christmas trip because I want to see WDW during that magical time and see the new stuff. Can't wait to start to plan this one after I get back in May :rotfl:

Well I can't wait that long.. going 9/2011.. but I am sure we will be going 9/2013 so happy to keep you company till then!:cool1:

I was just thinking about booking something this fall for fall 2012.... But then I thought the same thing. Why not just wait one more year to be able to see and do all the new fantaslyand things. It sounds like it will be amazing!!! We've been going to Florida every few years or so, so if we went in 2012, we probably wouldn't get back until my girls were no longer interested in Fantaslyand.

SO WE WAIT!!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Us too!! (not the baby part....the going in May part!) We're looking at the last week of May 2013. We were originally thinking June, but I'm hoping that May is slightly less crowded.... however it works out, that'll be just fine w/ me ! :banana: But it gives us ALOT more time to budget and save for this trip.

I can't WAIT to see pics of the Fantasy Land expansion. I'm so excited that we decided to wait. It would kill me to go next year and know that in just a few short months it'll all be open....and we won't be able to have the fun! :goodvibes I hate to wish time away, but I really can't wait for 2013 now!!!

We were going to wait too- but just booked a last minute for April. But I agree that it will be the last trip till 2013- I can't wait to see the finished fantasyland

Do they have a date they expect the expansion to be complete. We were thinking Oct 2012, but if it is right after we may wait.

going this june and im allready thinking of planning my next trip haha. my next trip is supposed to be/should be in 2015 with my parents to kind of celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the first time we went but im not sure i can hold out that long! ill probably do at least a short trip in 2013

we probably won't go again until 2013. i'm having a baby right at the beginning of summer this year, my husband is getting out of the army at the end of this year (which will mean us moving back home from NC to OK) and hopefully next year we will be buying our first house and we'll probably be working on that. so, i'd like to wait till things for us settle down a bit before a major vacation like WDW. our kids would be 8, 7, almost 5, and 2, so young enough for it to still be super magical, but my youngest one will be old enough to really "get" who all the characters are.
