HI everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Michelle, my df proposed back in April before leaving for training before being deployed in July. We set our date for December 27, 2008.
I have always dreamed of going to Disney for my honeymoon (that's where my parents honeymooned, also). I converted him into a huge Disney fan. We went last August with my family and then we went again, his idea, over my February break for a special trip before he left.
We had been playing around with different ideas, cruises- unfortunately not on the Magic because we're getting married over my Christmas vacation. Then we decided this past weekend while he was home (I hadn't seen him for 7 weeks, it was so good to see him!) to go to Disney!! I'm so excited! I know it's a long way off, but it's so good to have something like that to plan for!

Michelle princess:

yay! it's good to hear that you converted your man into a disney lover.. I'm trying to do that myself and I realize the only way to do it is to take him there and have a great time! (He laughs at me when I watch the disney vacation planning video just 'for fun'). :rotfl2:

congrats again!

Thank you!!

It's sort of funny. He hadn't been to Disney since he was 8 with his family. My family is made up of huge Disney fans. He knew I loved it there and he had a really good time with us last summer. I took it as a very good sign when he was the one the suggested the trip to Disney in February. We were talking about some different ideas for the honeymoon and he agreed that Disney would be a great choice!!

We're trying to decide between the Yacht Club and WL. I've stayed at both, he stayed at the WL last summer. We both love the atmosphere of the WL but I think we're going to go for the YC. We're going to go to EPCOT for New Year's Eve and it will be easier at the end of the night. Last time I was there for NYE a few yrs ago I stayed at the BC and it was so nice to not have to worry about taking transportation when we left at the end of the night.

Any ideas to make the trip special?
We want to make ADRs for California Grill for sometime during the trip to hopefully watch Wishes while we are there.

Michelle
