Hello friends! Sorry we've been absent for a few days, but never fear! Our next update is here! We're just under 50 days out now and preparing more and more every day. Today we wanted to talk about our hotel choice for this trip, as well as a few other updates
This post is pretty full of info so read on to see what our thoughts are these days!!!
So last year, we stayed at Pop Century together. We LOVE Pop - its our home of homes at Disney. We had such a blast there last year. Its where all 3 of us met for the first time, hugged each other and laughed and cried together. So its hard not to be there this time.

But we wanted to try something different this time. Since we were going to be splitting the stay between a hotel and Kaelas apartment, a moderate was a natural next step for us. We actually started out looking for a Princess Room at POR. But when Kaela went to check, there was no availability for cast discount rooms at POR during our dates
That didnt keep us down, of course. Instead, we went into a research mission into the other moderates. And the winner was:
We chose Coronado for a few reasons. Ive visited the resort before and remembered it being so gorgeous, with beautiful theming. I had heard that it was kinda spread out (read: LONG walks back to the room!) so I was wary of that but it still seemed to be pretty awesome, especially for a moderate.
One of the things I did on my Coronado research was listen to the DIS podcast when the guys did 7 in 7. Omg, the things these people were saying about Coronado!
I was like starry eyed. Hearing that its the best of the mods, that its more like a deluxe with a mod price tag. How its so well themed and impeccable. I fell in love with the resort before even setting foot on it.
And I gotta tell you

(also, Sarah's at work right now so she can't comment but she says she is excited about all the same things as us, esp the pool haha)
I actually ended up visiting Coronado just a few days ago for the first time since we booked and it made me even more excited to stay here. The whole place is even more gorgeous than I remembered, and its going to be so perfect for us!
Speaking of visiting Coronado the other day...I wanted to take a quick second to introduce somebody who is majorly important in my life and is probably gonna be present at least a little bit in our trip! This is my boyfriend Chris:
He's amazing and fabulous and the best boyfriend ever and he met Ana & Sarah on their last trip here. He's also a CM, at Epcot - we met on our college program last year and now we live together and have been dating for almost 8 months 
He LOVES Disney, like us (he grew up a DVC kid, haha 
). He hasn't played a huge part in the planning process, except giving input on restaurants here and there, but he'll probably be joining us for a good bit of our trip! so if you follow me on instagram and wonder about the weird boy I always post photos with, this is him hahaha
Anyway....here's some other updates that have happened since we last chatted (I told you this a big post!)
1. DAPPER DAY DRESS UPDATES!
My dress came in the mail a few days ago and it's even more beautiful in person!! Obviously this isn't the best picture but I didn't wanna spoil the surprise too too much 
If you remember the picture from before, the dress previously had sleeves...I decided I didn't like the cap sleeves too much so I ripped them off and sewed the seams back together and I like it much better this way haha. Ana also bought the fabric for her dress this week, and Sarah is going to be ordering hers soon as well! Soon we'll be 3/3 dresses and ready to get dapper!
We have ordered and received tulle to make our tutus!
We had it shipped directly to Kaela's apartment so we can make them the night they get here. And sure enough, there were 19 rolls of sparkly beautiful tulle waiting at the door after work! We can't wait!
and that's about it! that's all we have for you today! our to do list is getting shorter and shorter and we're just getting more excited as the days go on. just 49 days left until we're reunited! we'll talk to you soon, friends
