Just thought I'd list my time line if anyone's interested:


August 5 : Made counter offer on BWV 350 pts with 26 banked
UY DEC all of '04 available
Buyer paid closing and '04 MF's
since we got all the '04 points
$71 per point

August 9 : Timeshare sent to Disney for ROFR (Heart starts
beating REALLY hard!)

August 18 : Jason calls to say Disney passed on ROFR!!!

August 24 : Got papers thru e-mail, signed them

August 25 : mailed in papers and cashiers' check(snail mail)

August 30 : Called today; They got the papers and
check. We are closing today. Said to call
Disney next Monday to see if we're in the
system!

Wow, you went through the entire process in not quite a month -very impressive! We won the e-bay auction for our VWL contract on 7/26, signed the initial paperwork which went to Disney 7/31. Heard back 8/16 that we passed ROFR. We are not closing, however, until 9/10 -- not certain if the sellers being from South America slows down the process at all...

That's great news! When is your first trip?

My daughter wants to know if we're ever going to meet y'all down at WDW again. I found the picture I took of her & your son at the Commissary. I'll email it if you're interested.

Congratulations! That was really fast. We completed our BCV purchase in 31 days.

Our first trip "home" will be next June. 2 days at the resort and a 4 day Wonder cruise. You, DH & DD should join us!! We're driving down this time.

By the way, I have the pic . You sent it to me after our last meet. DS has it framed on his dresser!

I just hope our process goes as quickly!! The Timeshare Store will have our papers today and I guess Disney will have them tomorrow. Then my heart will start pounding, too!!!
