We changed tickets....would you skip a park?

How much more would it be to add hoppers?(Or change to a ticket that has hoppers) Then you could do 2 parks a day and take advantage of EMH. I think it is well worth it to have hoppers. We went to MK almost everyday at opening, went on all the rides with no lines, and then when it got busy we hopped over to another park. It was great! :earsgirl:

I would go with skipping MGM, our last trip we where there only 2 hours with dd11 !!!! she really likes Epcot and The Magic Kingdom ::MinnieMo

Mixed choices..I was worried about that...hehe I am loving reading everyones answers though! Thanks so much!

For those that would not skip MGM which one would you skip then? Or would you try to do them all and not have 2 days for MK?

I am torn.. I do want him to see the characters and we wanted to have lunch at Pizza Planet so that part makes me not want to skip MGM but then again I really do not want to miss Epcot and I think he might really enjoy Ak..

The choices we must make!!!! :confused3 :rotfl:

You are doing right by planning 2 days at MK! Do them all and still spend 2 whole days at Magic Kingdom!
When we do 4 days, what we do is split a day with AK and MGM..... AK in the morning and then usually by 2 pm head to MGM for the rest of the day and to see Fantasmic. This works great! I love MGM, It's not my favorite park, but I would never want to miss it. I think there is by far more things for kids (especailly 2 yr olds) there than Epcot & AK.
As for AK.....if I only had a two year old, I could probably be out of AK by noon. He's too little for Dinosaur and probably would be scared to death of Bugs Life. I would probably get there and do KS, FOTL ( he'd love this!) and take him on Tricerotops Spin. Also, don't take the train to conservation station if you are doing a half day. Takes up way too much time and there really isn't anything fantastic over there. (JMHO) Then I would get out of there and go to MGM. Yes, there are animals to see at AK and he would probably like that, but when you are pressed between seeing animals or experiencing MGM.......I vote for taking him to a local zoo when you get home.
Even when we have 5 days for parks, I still only do a half a day at AK and get even more time at MK.
MGM has Beauty and the Beast, PLayhouse, Lil Mermaid, Bugs life playground, and you and DH can do baby swap on TOT & RNR so you get to experience those. Plus the Stars and Motor cars parade is awesome! Lots of great character meets at MGM! Honestly, do a half a day at AK and MGM and when he's older come back again and see the rest! :flower:

I think I read that Living Seas at Epcot was going to be closed for refurb along with Turtle Talk....maybe I'm wrong though! Just wanted to give you a heads up if it's true!

I think that your plan is a good one. 2 days MK, 1 day Epcot for you and if you think he would like the animals, I would choose DAK over MGM. Not because there is *nothing* for toddlers, but if you can't do all of them, MGM is the one I would skip.

Thanks for all the opinions guys! After all that last night hubby decided to make our tickets 5 days base instead of 4 so now we can still do 2 at MK and one full day at Epcot, and that will put us doing our first night there at MGM and our last morning there at AK before we head home. SO still only giving AK and MGM half days but I think it will work. I just really want my 2 whole days at MK and one full at Epcot. Now can I just PRAY that it does not rain the whole time. I have a million pictures to take! :cool1: :sunny:

Honestly, if I was thinking about skipping a park (and my kids would agree with me), I would skip AK. You have a few shows that kids will enjoy, maybe the safari and the are where Primevil Whirl is but that is about it. We were in and out in less than 4 hours when we were there last month. There is so much more at EPCOT and MGM for both adults and children. As far as crowds go, if you do some careful planning and even ask the right people the right questions, you can avoid most of the crowds. It really just takes planning.

Hope that helps!!
