We are heading to the Fort for two weeks at the end of Sept through early October! Woo-Hoo!

We took the camper on its maiden voyage last week for three nights at HersheyPark Campground. It was great!! Well, except for six children in the car either crying the entire drive (the baby) or needing to use the bathroom (the oldest kids). We stopped at a rest stop, put the slide out two feet and used our own bathroom. That was wonderful!

Now I need to learn about MagicBands and the new FastPass system.

Thanks for all the advice you've given me so far!

The bands are easy, just think of them as the KTTW (Key To The World) card without the need to swipe them. They allow all the same things the old KTTW cards did plus FP+. Depending on crowds when you go, FP+ might be better booked ahead but we seemed to manage with only 24-36 hours ahead since we really don't schedule what park we are going to each day. We leave that flexible based on weather and want.

Such a nice time of year to visit. Enjoy your trip!

How did you like Hershey? We went 2 summers ago and I still haven't recovered from riding the Fahrenheit! Skyrush was pretty fun - not quite as scary, but still very thrilling.

Congrats! Ahh Hersey some day I plan to get up there. :) I should be there the end of Sept too. Go ahead and buy your tickets now so you can link them to your reservation on MyDisneyExperience.com that way you can be ready to do your FastPasses at the 60 day out mark. :)
Got my Magic Band on right now and heading to the Fort! Can't wait to get off I4.

Hershey was good! The most exciting ride I went on was the ferris wheel. I would have tossed my cookies on Fahrenheit! :scared1: My one year old and I kept to the tame stuff. The Chocolate World "ride" was my speed. :)

I do have most of our tickets. I bought them a few years ago from Undercover Tourist before one of the big price increases. Thanks for the tip on linking them. I've been wondering how to do that since I have the old style paper tickets. I really need to get up to speed with all these changes!

Have fun at the Fort! :woohoo: We can't wait to go!!
