We going a day longer for our stay and the first time we will be staying at the Disneyland hotel! First time ever staying on site. There is a parking fee, but if we have the AP with parking do we have to pay that fee?

You will still need to pay when parking at the hotel. But on your DLH booking.

Self parking is $15. Hopefully you got an AP discount on the room. We stayed in the adventure tower this past weekend and the fireworks show from the room was great. Have fun!

You better double check on that. We have been staying with disney for years. Have stayed at all the disney hotels. This year, for the first time we were charged $15 a day for the self parking. Times that by seven days and it adds up. Lots of new charges for items that used to be free. Lots of small changes in the parks as well. We usually go for seven days at a time,the next one will be the last for that lenth of time.

The parking was previously part of the resort fee. But almost a year ago they dropped the resort fee and added a parking fee if you come by car.
