Welcome to the Fabulous Fox Theatre

Now that you have finished a more elegant meal today it is time for a night on the town at a well known historic Atlanta theatre (with the fancy spelling and everything )

One of the highlights of the Atlanta area is the Fox Theatre. Whether you are interested in live theatre or concerts, the Fox provides a luxurious atmosphere for the event.

This theatre was once the grand showcase of the South, showing movies and holding plays and activities. A major renovation was undertaken to give this illustrious building new life. One can still see the finely engraved ornamentation on the columns. There is still a grand entranceway. There are elegant seats and decorative touches, many that are original to the building. Even the men's room has a touch of elegance in its appointments.

I was wondering where everyone went! I felt very lonely yesterday.... But then I got a wonderful postcard from Marshay! She is so thoughtful!

I'm still here! I've been busy with interviews and such the last few days, but I'm loving our visit to Atlanta. The Fox theatre is beautiful.

I knew Atlanta was big, but I had NO idea of all the fun places to go! Thanks BTM! It really looks like an amazing place! I've never really been there, except flying through and stopping at the airport on the way to Disney World as a kid. I don't remember much...but I'll never forget my Mom getting locked in the stall in the restroom! That was way back when they had the pay stalls.

On March 20, Kashata the western lowland gorilla traveled to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, where she will join a new gorilla family per recommendation of the Gorilla Species Survival Plan. The 15-year-old female had a familiar friendly face, Primate Keeper Kristina Krickbaum, with her on her trip to Florida. Congratulations to Kristina and the Primate Department for the months of hard work and training that led to Kashata’s successful trip and safe arrival as she embarks on an exciting new chapter.

I hope everyone is all cleaned up after our day at the CNN center and Zoo Atlanta! We'll be off to the Fernbank Museum of Natural History for a quick tour followed by Martinis & IMAX!
