Me - 36 year old fan of eating out. Not terribly adventurous, just like good food and great desserts

Brent - 39 year old husband. Doesn't like to spend money but deals with it at Disney. Is a bit more adventurous

Sometimes
Kathy - 50 something who moved to Florida simply so she could have lunch in Epcot whenever she wanted

John - 50 something who HATES spending money for expenses meals (seeing a pattern here - women spend money on food - men hate it in our crowd)

Jay - 36 year old best friend of Shelly and Brent. Just happy to be in Florida at WDW for the first time

Darleen - 27 year old girlfriend of Jay. Also just happy to be here

James - 15 year old who eats EVERYTHING and lots of it

AJ - 15 year old friend of James who is just like him

Travis - 10 year old who loves grilled cheese and mac and cheese

Kaeli and Donaven - 5 and 6 year olds who order food in the resturants, don't eat it, and then have snacks from the backpack all day

Day Two - January 7
Breakfast - Cinderella's Royal Table
We are two adults who really didn't "need" to have breakfast with the princesses. But I'd heard such fun reports about getting an early breakfast ressie in the MK and walking down Main Street before the crowds appeared for the day. So I called 90 days out, about 10:00AM WDW time, and asked for an 8:00AM PS for Crystal Palace. The lovely CM on the phone nicely found me a slot and then said, "You know, I still have Cinderella's would you rather eat there?" I thought to myself that I didn't want to take a slot away from any little ones, but since they still had slots that late in the morning I'd take it.

All would have worked out beautifully, but MK changed it's early entry day to Friday and I didn't get to walk in without the crowds, oh well. The breakfast itself was good. It is pre-plated and they will bring you more of anything you'd like. Brent and I both enjoyed it. I liked the fruit. The pasteries were okay, but nothing special. (We took darling niece Jonna to the Epcot breakfast in May and I liked the Cinnamon rolls there better) The eggs were well cooked and decent. The breakfast meats and the french toast were really good. And the potatoes were awesome.

I didn't find the princess interaction to be rushed at all. All the girls stopped by the table, signed a couple of post cards for Jonna, and took pictures with me or Brent. I think they would have taken pics with both of us, but we didn't ask. Snow White started off by saying it was nice to see the big kids at breakfast that morning, which was sweet.

Lunch - Hot Dogs on the Boardwalk and glasses of wine in France
Remember my husband is the one who doesn't like to spend $$$ on food so he was so impressed when we had hotdogs and fries for $15.00. The hotdogs were good, the fries were okay. I really only like fries that are made from fresh potatoes, so I'm never thrilled with fries when we go out.

We then walked over to Epcot and had a glass of wine from the cart in France. Brent had a red wine which he enjoyed and I had a Vouvray Saiviongon (sp) which I thought was the BEST wine I'd ever had. LOVED IT

Dinner - Bistro De Paris
Well Bistro for the girls that is, me and Kathy. John and Brent went to ESPN and Big River. I have no idea what they ate or drank, they didn't say.

Kathy and I had a lovely time at the Bistro. We were the first one seated for the night and had a lovely window table. Our waiter was Olivier and he was very nice. I had more Vouvray wine. We decided not to order appetizers to assure room for dessert. I had the Grilled Beef Tenderlion, which was awesome. It had a wonderful sauce with it, which was good with the bread Olivier insisted I dunk in it - LOL. It came with five small potato dumplings, which were good, and my favorite veggie, grill asparagus.

Kathy chose the Roasted Lamb Loin, which she liked very much. She'd had it before and it was as good as she remembered. For dessert Kathy ordered the chocolate souffle. I ordered the chocolate variations. Kathy LOVED her dessert and said it was like eating a chocolate cloud. I liked the different tastes in the variations. My favorite was the mint chocolate soup - nummy - but the cake and chocolate sorbet were awesome too.

All in all a very good culinary day

Shelly
