Well, that certainly is nice to have a wonderful bonus and pension...I received my Christmas bonus this year...wonderful friends I made here on the dis!!!! Ginny, Leanne, & Lisa you just can not begin to believe how much your thoughts have meant to me!!!

Danny did get his bonus, if he wouldn't have we would not have had Christmas...cause I was a bad girl and did not put away and start early this year....but, it's all good!

Ginny I love talking to you also...I know we are friends for life and look forward to meeting you one day very soon!

Don gets a $25 gc to be used in any of the grocery stores his company supplies. Which is all but one store in our area. We spent 55 on Sat and got 25 off. Yippee. You used to only get a ham or turkey. This is a little better.

I guess that's better than nothing, huh? DH used to get a ham. It certainly came in handy, but now we don't even get those anymore. We both feel so appreciated.

That shall be my goal for the year, see some of my dis friends. With or without Don. I do know how to travel without him and have done it many times. He would be so jealous.

I don't save either. I've always gotten good bonuses anywhere from $500 to $3000. I love them all and realize they are just that a bonus and to get something that will last. One year we put the hardwood down in our house. I know I'm buying Don an office chair. His old one hurts his back. All my other shopping is done.

Disney Live came to Monroe about a month or so ago. I so wish I still had a little one so I could have had an excuse to go. I love the pictures of Ashton and his squenched up eyes.

Good for you getting your shopping done. John and I went to town this weekend and finished up the big stuff. I always say I am not going to spend so much money but I always do. Now, I hope the boss doesn't forget to give me my bonus.

I always like to buy me something with my bonus just so I know I got something for the work. It doesn't have to be expensive, just something I've been wanting and didn't buy. I usually spend it on the kids. When my girls were young I spent it all on them. Getting older has its rewards.

We always pay some bill...that we should not have made during the year!
We spend 1/5 of it on Christmas; most of that is for the kids...Danny and I do not exchange gifts...although last year we bought a new mattress for our bed; the year before he surprised me with my camera (I would not have bought that one but it does the job! )

The tree has been redone...no new stuff except for a certain Mickey and Pluto hot air balloon ornament will do pictures tomorrow...it does look better since I anchored the animals in better this go round!

Well, Chloe's mom called to say that she will not be coming back until after Christmas (she was suppose to spend Christmas Eve with us--he Grandmother will be watching her instead since I will not be back in time for a family party she has to attend...and tomorrow she is baking cookies w/ her grandmom.... I just hope she does not get sick for Christmas! )...

Danny and I just came in from a little last minute shopping and I need to go out tomorrow when I can without Ashton he has been asking for a "jack in the box" since last week every day...so, Danny said to get one and but it under the tree!

Well, I need to get to bed...I have a little boy who told me he is not ready for bed but he is finally sitting quietnext to me... so that finally means we get to go to bed

Oh! BTW~ Danny is finally getting use to me talking about ya'll daily...
I too mention ya'll like I see you on a regular basis...if you think about it we do...and we have the best situation...we can chat when we are free for a second here or there; and keep up on our busy schedules...

Right now I am trying to piece together a May trip...but, before anyone gets too excited we would leave our house on Tuesday May 18! the day after Dayne graduates...sorry...we are still trying to beat the crowds... will let you know what type of figures I come up with next week!

May is a big MAYBE!!!! even getting the figures alot will depend on taxes in Feb... but I can hope, plan, and maybe even go on and book...if we can't pull of May I can just change the ressies to Nov....that's what I'm thinking :

I'm letting Ashton go and spend the day with Gwendolyn & Joe ...I want to run to town and hit the toy store....

Good afternoon Connie. A May adventure would be so cool. I was talking to Don today about what to do for vacay and was tellling him where all my Dis sisters live and he said maybe instead of a cruise we could just start from home and go thru LA over to Mobile and then hit the beach for a day or two. I thought that too would be an excellent idea. I get more bang for my buck that way. We could just take one of those extended holiday weekend maybe or not even a holiday. He has plenty of time to take off.

Now he has me all psyched up and ready to travel.

Give my precious boy a big hug and kiss. I hate that Chloe is not going to be with you. I know how nervous you feel about her actually being taken care of. We will pray for the best for her.

Lisa we live so close to one another we just need to plan a road trip...May is a big maybe (see my answer to Kathy)...we just need to go on and plan a meet after the holidays ...I plan to meet with Dana after the holidays either in New Orleans or in Biloxi...and told Danny I want to plan a definate meet with Ginny & Don...my road trip to you and Dana does not require an overnight but Ginny well that would def be an overnight!!!

Megan & Brandi (if you are reading...) we are soooo close to one another all we need to do is pick a day and a place and hour for each of us (Brandi 1/2 hour)...

and Leanne...Danny (just as much as me) looks forward to the day we can finally meet!

Mel, I plan to meet someday somewhere with you too! just need time to plan that one out!!

So, as you can all see although Danny does not follow along he is in for the ride

Disney Live was a lot of fun...just wish I would have sprung for better seats

we are gearing up for the final days of Christmas....my girlfriend called today and said she was able to get 4 Zhu zhu pets...not sure if any of those are for Ashton...but, I know he would like them! Plan to do them for Easter gifts...

All caught up again . I LOVE the video of Ashton and Chloe dancing. I am so scared of heights I wouldn't have even been up filming. The first time I went to the Superdome we were up in the nose bleed section and I was scared to death.

I can't wait to see pictures of Ashton on Christmas morning when he sees his bike . I bet he will be lit up like a Christmas tree. Dale and I exchange gifts, but we don't go all out. Dale gets a Christmas bonus, but we don't get anything at the hospital anymore. We use to get a turkey for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but they stopped in 2007.

I can't wait until we can get together and meet. It will be so nice to finally meet you and Danny. I got the card today, thank you .
