So, spoke to MIL tonight...she is preparing Gumbo, cornbread dressing; SIL is baking pies; I'm preparing two casserole's and now a turkey (SURPISE!!! ) MIL said that we had our meat dish in the gumbo... good thing I bought that small turkey today...now do I thaw it in the sink over night (I know that is not how you should do it--but, I want to cook it tomorrow)...may go soak it in a brine tonight in the sink (bad me)

best part I did not even tell MIL about the turkey; so, it will be a surprise hope SIL does not think along the same line as me...

You knew that would happen for sure. I'd do it in the sink. I know they say you shouldn't. I normally don't but have been known too. I've since gone to fresh turkeys so I don't have to worry so much.

You all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are leaving at 7:30 in the morning and hope to get there around 4:30. I hope Don feels like driving. He spent the day with his Dad and Mom. Dad is not well. He is on 4 kinds of pain meds. I hate it for them so bad.

We shopped at Costco last night and got Andrew his computer for Christmas. So one present down.

Hello! everyone hope your Black Friday shopping is a fun and eventful one!! Ashton and I are watching the Disney channel, "Cars". We plan to watch a new movie he received as a gift this morning from a very special friend! "Toy Story 2"...

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, yesterday! we had a very full day... and I mean that in every sense of the word

we started our day at MIL & FIL's house left there around 3:45 and headed to my parents...we had dinner there...Gwendolyn & Joe and Dayne had to leave MIL earlier around 2:00...Dayne had dogs to watch and Gwendolyn & Joe still had to stop for a few at my parents than off to his parents. They got in around 2 she said!

So, I should be running around and burning off alot of that food from yesterday but just too lazy...I guess when Danny gets home we will try and go out and see about Christmas decorations in the yard...not doing the house yet maybe we will start tomorrow inside the tree won't come until two weekends from now...Danny has to have a real tree ( I do not care for real trees --allergic--but he burned my artifical tree two years ago--said it was time to get rid of it--I was tying it together with light strands )

It sounds like ya'll had a pretty good Thanksgiving. I really enjoyed having Amanda and Tyler doing most of my cooking, it was pretty good.

I was watching the news at 5 this morning and there is no way I would have gotten out in that mess. I was scheduled to work today anyway so I would have missed it either way. I want to get out of the house though, I am starting to go stir crazy knowing I can't get in the car and drive anywhere I want.

I guess I will sit here, all alone, and watch the Bama game . That is OK though, I don't mind.

My PTR is slow coming but please join us in our conversations!!! all friends welcome...
on this PTR I am planning a Sr. trip in May for my son and his friends, of course, they have decided to go to, WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT!! so, hopefully that will hold me over while I plan our Christmas trip to the world at this time next year!!!

I won't have any updates on either of those trips until January I'm afraid...hoping some good deals will be released soon!

But, again and plan along with us!!!


I checked out your blog(nice to meet you and put a face to the name)...I have never done one of those...I only post here and on FB--for now!
Ashton was two last May and did very well...it was a very rainy May so we kinda had no problem going to the room midday for nap time...but, he really loved all the rides and everything Disney...I hope we can afford to do what we plan this coming year...he is really looking forward to this next trip as am I!!!

Good evening Connie. Home at last. We had a wonderful trip but it is so nice to be home and in the old pj's. We got home about 430 and took Austin home so Sheri had dinner ready. Yummy and I didn't have to cook. She even made a blackberry cobbler. Don brought some home with him. I can't believe it is Monday tomorrow. I could use some time off to rest up from all that shopping.

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. And now ready for the week to begin again.

We are having sunshine this morning. Supposed to have snow on Wednesday. Not happy over that one. I did get some Christmas shopping done in Nashville so that was good and I bought me a new camera so hopefully (time will tell) I can take a better picture. I have at least downloaded the disc and instructions.

Hi! Brandi! and all friends!!! we are waiting for the Saints game to start!!!
I just got fussed for saying that if they are going to lose it will be tonight!!! he said I bring bad vibes

Don't think they will lose; but, can not have any turnovers tonight like they did against Tampa....

Ashton & Chloe and I, spent the day with projects! We worked on color sheets of their name, we are learning to use scissors (my poor floor ),
we did the Mickey and friends countdown christmas calendar, and a mickey & minnie color sheet decorating a tree...thinking of making it an ornament. Tomorrow is library story time and we have two ornaments to do (one Donald & Dasiy and one Mickey & Minnie) along with another name color sheet...hoping to get Chloe to reconize her letters and Ashton to start putting his together to reconize (sp) words.
