Good for you Mel. I know that is hard but there is no reason to start something again that she has no intention of finishing. You have to be the adult and do what Mitchell needs not her. I am way proud of you. You know I'd send that DVD to Mitchell in a heartbeat if your DH would let me.

Thank you so much for your support, Ginny!!! I knew I did the right thing, but I still felt crummy about it. I hate to be mean to people. But, it didn't seem to bother her, so why should it bother me???

We're supposed to have snow on Saturday! Which would be nice if Mitchell did not have a Christmas parade to be in.

And how come it only snows on the weekends where I am?

Hey, Connie! We're supposed to get snow Saturday, too- but today it is about 60 degrees out & sunny...this morning it was pouring rain & extremely windy. New England weather makes me CRAZY.

If you lived here you would work anyway. The only time we close is if it is 8 or more inches or ice. The boss might not come in but he expects us to. We generally miss 2 days a year. We have to take the patient list home every night in the winter just in case.

Connie. Have a great day. It is still cold 30 degrees but sunshine today. We did have flurries yesterday but nothing else.

I wish I was home all curled up in my chair with the book I started last week. I'm never going to finish it. But I did finish listening to one I had started last night. I'm so productive.

So, we have been upgraded!
we are forecasted to get 1" - 3" of snow between midnight Friday/Sat and Saturday around 9:00...so, Danny turned around to go get the generator. (we have a small generator--for JIC; but, he borrows a diesel one for the entire house from work). Just called and told Chloe's mom for them to spend the night here tomorrow and Danny bring her to work Saturday morning!(worried about her not so much drving in snow; cause I don't think we are going to get that much--more worried about her driving right before dawn on iced bridges). Thankfully Dayne is not scheduled Saturday morning.

I don't think we will get it like we did last year; but, probably just enough to knock out the power...

I think Chloe is feeling better, I tried to doctor her up and fill her belly.
Your weather sounds like ours 60's and sunny...we had rain and wind the other day...yucky!

Love the snow pix. I like snow if the cold and ice didn't come with it. It is very cold here but that is all. They are saying the snow will all be south. Lucky you.

hope you are having a quiet weekend. I have a sick baby today...guess he came down with whatever Chloe had. I woke up around 2:00am feeling an awful hot baby laying on me. He had 102 fever and again at 10am. Waiting to see around 3 what he comes up to.
I keep asking him if anything hurts and tells me yes but won't tell me what . he did not want to eat anything yet (so I'm wondering if it is his throat?!?--mine is scratchy). See how he does today and tonight; might be visiting the doctor tomorrow...

Aw, I hate that he is feeling bad. He probably just can't say what hurts if he's got that achy yucky feeling. Poor baby. I hope he feels better soon.

Ashton is very sick! still running 102 fevers starts up about at the 3hr mark and never really goes down past 100.5...none of my children have ever been this ill and with the H1N1 in the air I'm starting to get nervous.... he does not want to eat (which is normal--I know) but it is hard to get him to drink, either...I know he has to be getting dehydrated. Hope the doctor I want to see is able to see him tomorrow first thing...unless this passes over night....

I will keep him in my prayers Connie. I know you are nervous. If he can take motrin and tylenol, try alternating them to get his temp down. I know I don't have to tell you that. Even if you can get him to take sips of pedialyte every once in a while that will help. I know you are beside yourself right now with worry, but know that Ashton will be in a lot of prayers as will you.

See what happens when I don't keep up? I didn't know Ashton was sick! I know it is very scary when they run high fevers. Mitchell's got up to 105.7 one year and scared me half to death. He didn't want to drink either and became dehydrated very quickly. Make him drink, even if he doesn't want to. Very important.

Please let us know how he is today...

I feel just like Mel. I haven't been on the boards since Friday and I didn't know that Ashton was sick. When you get a minute, please let us know how he is doing. Tell Ashton that Mrs. Lisa got him and Chloe a little surprise this weekend. I plan on mailing it out this weekend.

Connie, I'm so sorry Ashton is ill. My laptop decided to quit working Friday night and I haven't even touched a computer till now. I hope he is starting to feel better. I know how you feel. It is so hard to have a little one sick.
