Hope Princess C. gets that hand well! Poor baby... And poor Peter Pan. I hope that he isn't coming down with something, but Mitchell has allergies too and has started up his coughing again. It used to worry me when he'd cough like that, but now I'm getting used to it. Still worries me, but I try not to let it, that is. ;)

I hope you get to go to the zoo on Saturday. That sounds like fun! I'd love to go, myself, but DH has to work, and I don't foresee him wanting to go, even if he WERE off. Too bad we're not close, we could go together!

I would go too. Our zoo stinks. Look I mada a funny. It isn't very big and the only thing it is know for is the elephant breeding program. They send them everywhere. Sandi, Tim and Alex are coming Friday so I'm all set for a fun weekend. We are supposed to have rain tomorrow thru early Sat. Yes that means Senior night at the football game. BooHiss

we are going to the Baton Rouge Zoo; it is not as big as the one in New Orleans. But, they do "Boo at the Zoo" in the day time and don't charge extra admission. New Orleans does it at night and it cost $17pp. I think he will enjoy their around 5-8 yrs old; it is geared for about that age range...the BR zoo is trick or treating while walking and viewing their animals and is geared to the little ones!

Since everyone is sharing their fall pictures; I just took a few of the kids playing...give me a few and I'll post them!!

Finally have a little bit of time to chime in. Our local zoo is the absolute pits. It started out years and years and years ago and it was in a nice part of town. Now, it's in the very worst part of town. Nothing but hoodlums and bums. There is no way to get there unless you drive through all the bad stuff. I am serious when I say I keep the doors locked and drive as fast as I possibly can.

The zoo itself is just okay. They try to work on it but we can't get any taxes passed to keep it up. The enclosures are getting old and could use repairs. We used to have a train and it's closed down because they can't bring the track up to code. We have boats though.....that take you around island where there are very few animals. A couple of years ago, we had a sink hole and one of the giraffes and an emu died. I'm telling you it needs work!

When John and I were dating, there was nothing around here to do so we would go to the zoo at least once a month. It's sad that it's in a run down part of town otherwise it would probably get more visitors.

here is Princess C and Peter Pan playing in the yard today...
we have been sharing fall pics on Mickeystoontown thread so I thought I would share here with ya'll!!!!

here is our baby "Buddy" that Dayne brought home for valentine's day and than the girl broke his heart --so he no longer wants the poor baby and he is still too rough to play with Peter Pan--so Danny has another baby

I love those pics. Those pond reflection pix are gorgeous. They look to be having fun in the sunshine. Lucky. I have no colored flowers in my yard for now. The cannas are done and the mums are just getting ready to bloom. I have rhodedendron in the front but it doesn't bloom long enough so they are coming out and hydrangias are going in. My tulips, crocus and hyacinths are gorgeous in the spring. I can't wait. I need someone to come plan my flowers for me. I have huge hostas.

Great pics, Connie! I wish I were outside playing with you guys! It looks so nice out there. Princess C is such an adorable cutie. And Peter Pan is very dashing himself! :wizard:

Also, I wanted to come back and post on the pond pictures. I love how clearly their reflections came out!

Good morning Connie. How are you this day? It is not cold but it is cloudy here. The sun was nice while it lasted.

Hope you have a wonderful day. I'm finishing up on my filing today. Ych!

Give the Princess C and my sweet Peter Pan a big hug and kiss please.

Ginny

Peter Pan and I decided to go to the mall today to see what kind of fun we could find...

Love those pictures. Peter Pan is so cute. It looked like he was having fun. Quite a few kids there. They decorated really well.

I hate scanning too. I have to get out of my chair and walk into the office. I do it at work. It is 3 steps from my desk. Lazy for sure.

Have a great evening

for some reason the lap top will not accept a scan...we even deleted the software and reloaded it...so I have to load it to the desk top (which is soooooo slow) than either email it by dial up or copy it to CD (which is the quickest way to do it--when I have a lot to do I normally do it that way)...:confused3 we can print from the laptop so we have no clue what the deal is...

he had a lot of fun...but, the store is small w/alot of merchandise and there were alot of kids there...I believe he became overwhelmed and I just got tired of hearing the kids crying and whining so we left before the parade to get popcorn and icee. We slowly walked to the car and went visit Danny's mom and dad...nice afternoon!

Spoke to a disfriend on the phone tongiht...it is great to put a voice with the name and photo...so I am up for two: Ginny & Leanne! :yay:
Thanks again for everything!! Leanne!!!!

It was wonderful to get the chance to chat with you tonight Connie! You are so sweet. :goodvibes

The pics of Ashton are really cute. It's amazing how much he has changed since we first starting chatting on our May PTR's. He looks so grown up now. The Halloween party looks neat. I didn't know the Disney Store did anything like that. What a fun day!

What cute pictures! We lost our Disney Store years and years ago. I loved going there and was extremely sad to see it go. Our mall has done absolutely nothing to decorate for Halloween.

We no longer have a Disney store either. Probably best for me. We were best friends when the grandchildren were smaller. Not to my budget tho. We still have an outlet and a real store down in Branson.

Leanne, lucky you talking to Connie. Isn't she just the greatest one ever?

Now onward. Good morning Connie. Hope you are going to have a good day. It is so raining here. Like 2 inches already and still coming down. I assume soccer will be cancelled tonite. I just hope we can get the football game in tomorrow. Although I have never seen them cancel a football game. It is just no fun sitting in the rain.

How is my little Prince Peter Pan today? I so loved those pictures. Do you have Princess C today?

Be sure to spread hugs and kisses all around. Oh, BTW, we haven't forgotten the Toy Story DVD. We found the VHS and Don is going to put it on a DVD for you. I know he won't get it done this weekend cause Sandi and family are here. But it will get done (before Peter Pan doesn't like it anymore) soon.

Ginny

We lost our Disney store in Baton Rouge (I never understood why considering it was always busy! :confused3 they had one in the mall and one in the outlet...so, we are left with one in Metairie (New Orleans) and the outlet in Gulfport...the one is gulfport is large and lots of regular merchandise...I fin it carries the exact stuff as the regular store in Lakeside w/only two tables and usually four clothing racks w/ specials or reducitons...

Good morning! everyone
kisses, hugs, and Peter Pan was sharing his version of tickles have been happily shared

we have a peek a boo sun today suppose to get about 1 - 2 in of rain today thru Friday AM!!! looking forward to a great weekend! Princess C is being picked up early today (she was suppose to go to the doctor--but, since I noticed the smell and swelling Tuesday her mom was able to get her seen yesterday--doctors talk out of two side of their mouth --I had a ped that did that when Gwendolyn and Dayne were little, I still can't believe I stayed with them until Dayne was two and she was six--they told her her hand looked great and than perscribed an antibotic)maybe just maybe the cleaning I did and airing it helped it by the time they seen it:confused3

Everyone have a wonderful day and I can't wait to have a magical weekend we started our Halloween fun yesterday and look forward to the next two weeks!!! :hmghost:
