thanks everyone!! I'm so sorry Lisa and Ginny! I missed ya'll post this morning!!!

That would be nice Ginny if she does...I have all my old VHS's but we don't have a machine in the house. Dayne gave his to goodwill and my dual player broke...

Mel, I can't place a commercial that looks like him...need a little try to remember to let me know what it is next time you see it...unless it is a local for you...

Glad ya'll enjoyed the bday pics...I found a few old pics from Dayne & Gwendolyn's first WDW visit I need to scan them and get some from my mom she has all the pics!!! I really need to copy them!!

My princess: has surgery tomorrow and I just found out her dad is not going :confused3 mom's boyfriend is going instead. I'm sorry I know I'm not divorced but shouldn't mom & dad be there when she goes under! to each there own, I guess. :headache:

We went to the cement pond today! The sun is out and it is only 94* out!!! :eek:did someone say it is October :confused3
Everyone have a great weekend! I probably won't be on tomorrow!!
:wave2:

I missed this when I posted.
Good luck for yourprincess: tomorrow.
I'll be thinking about you.

Good morning Connie. Just wanted to say hi and have a great weekend. Give my Precious Peter Pan a big hug and kiss from me. And best wishes to Princess C. I pray things go well for her today.

Ginny

Good morning Connie,

Hope that you have a great day. It's really cloudy here already and is supposed to start storming by this afternoon. I am soooo sick of rain!

Have a good one,

Lisa

Hello, Connie! Hope you have a great day. Extra thoughts going out to Priness C. I agree, dad should be there.

Well, I hope the surgery goes well tomorrow, and of course Mom and Dad should both be there :confused3

Your bday party looks great. I love that mouse!!!

Chloe's mom called me around 2 to let me know that everything went really well with her hand! so, I won't see her until Thursday unless her grandmother can't handle it...

We had a really good day...but boy was it HOT!!! We did not get on the road until about 10:30 so by the time we stopped to get something to eat and really get on the road it was about 1:30 before we got to the coast!!! LOTS of beautiful cars!!! started raining as the sun went down so we came on home. Danny had a great day except for the heat and Peter Pan wanted to go play on the beach but we never made it :sad2:
we went to the Disney outlet to look for a costume but we did not see anything
but we did buy a rashguard, swimsuit & t-shirt for $8 total :yay: I would have bought more if Danny were not with me...

till later
:wave2:

Glad to hear everything went well with your little princess:!

You sound like me - I would have bought more if Shamus weren't with me :rotfl2:

Sounds like a decent day till the rain anyway. Our rain finally stopped about 11 here. We ended up with 7.75 inches. Lots of water everywhere. We went to the football game tonite. We lost 42-7. There was a car wreck last night on the hiway and 3 teens from school were killed. The week before there had been a wreck within 1/2 mile from there and 2 people were killed. It is a 2 lane hiway with lots of cross-roads. These kids were 1 sophomore and 2 freshmen. They were in JROTC and just got done with practice. And yes it is against the law to have more than one passenger in your car under the age of 18. A really sad situation. After the game the opposing team had both teams on the field together and someone gave a prayer. It was very nice of them. Our school almost cancelled the game but decided not too. There was so much water on that field. Our white jerseys were totally dark brown and nasty.

Don is going to visit his mom and dad tomorrow. His dad is not doing well at all.

I'mm glad Chloe is doing well after her procedure today. Precious thing. That would be so hard. Shall we place bets you have her before Thursday?

Did Dayne get off ok? I'm glad Danny enjoyed his day. I would have liked to have been on the beach too.

It is cold here. Our high today was 45.

Have a great day tomorrow. Give my Peter Pan an extra special hug and kiss.

Ginny

Ginny, I am so sorry to hear about the kids from the HS! How sad...I am always so nervous about Dayne and his friends!

ya'll have a law about the age of how many children under 18 can be in a vehicle :confused3 and the dances only allow so many to a grouping :confused3 and you live in a city or in a small church town :confused3

Sorry, not being stupid about this just seems like some crazy rules that really don't protect the kids anyway. As a mom I have only allowed to passengers while my children were driving but that is my decision to make it should not be a lawmakers...sorry I'm on a soapbox kick...after hearing some different things Joe was telling me about tonight. I do feel like government tries to get into our parental business a little much.

so, sorry the boys lost again tonight, wow 7.75 inches--been there. Hopefully, it will start to dry up soon and I just wish we would cool off. I noticed someone who lives not far from me on FB put he is so happy that the cool front passed through ... I live north of him and I bet Lisa would say the same...WHAT COOL FRONT! :lmao: we are not suppose to cool off; just rain from the front and than it is suppose to back out of here :headache: its October and we are still in the 90's ...and Danny said we were going to have a cold winter...I wonder if he finally plans to bring me snow skiing this year :lmao:

OK I need to stop all this rambling...and go to bed --Peter Pan slept a good portion of the car ride home and he has finally started to act like he is ready for bed! :yay:

Jen; yes if Danny would not have been with me I would have bought three bathing suits, some pj's, and I would have worked my way to the girls side for Christmas gifts!!! :lmao: I love Disney and sales together--that is my heaven on earth:rotfl2:

Hi Connie!

I agree with you about government. Did you hear that in New York it is no illegal to have a bake sale at school or for school fundraisers? The government wants to make all of the decisions parents should make. I think the saddest thing about it is that people are letting them. sad, sad, sad.

Anyway, have you made any more decisions about Disney?

When Missour changed the law to give permits at 15 they added when you get your license you can have a family member and one other in your car, can't drive after midnite unless work related. Then when you turn 18 you get a new license with those restrictions lifted. If you get a ticket or have a wreck before 18 you then keep those restrictions till 21. They were trying to stop the mult-death accidents in teenagers. It is also illegal to text and drive under the age of 21. So does that mean after 21 it's ok? Austin made it thru just fine and got his new license when he turned 18 and got to register with the service. How lucky does that make you feel?

Willard is a small town with lots of kids. The population of town is 2500. There are over 5000 kids in the schools. We absorb part of Springfield in our schools. Stupid boundries.

We can still have bakesales. But if you take food to school it has to be bought not homemade and be indivdually wrapped.

We have sunshine this morning. It's awesome to see. Of course it is 34 degrees.

Have a great day and kiss my Peter Pan.

Ginny

Good morning Shannon!! No, I think we are leaving it to go back in November; that gives us (ME) time to plan and save money to do some extra things I would like to add. I would like to add the Petty driving experience for Danny and Dayne (if he comes), the pirate cruise (if they still have it), and I would like to fly (that probably won't happen). I would really LOVE to go in Feb. but it would be a big budget trip if we did! anyway your trip is almost here :yay: can't wait to hear all about it! I bet Madeline is getting all excited!!!

Good Morning! Ginny,
I understand why places think they need to pass rules that ya'll have...just think it is a bit too much interference. Some decisions should be personal ones. Now, the texting thing...that should be taught to people and yes I said people not kids not to do that while driving, while talking to another person, that SHOULD BE DONE WHEN YOU ARE ALONE!!!! NOT WHILE DOING ANYTHING!! the worse invention we have adopted into our lives is the cell phone. Now, don't get me wrong I love mine and wonder what did we ever do without them. But, our kids are learing some horrible things!!!! and we as adults are fogetting to be polite! I hate when you are anywhere and someone is talking on their phone and talking so loud that everyone with 15ft can hear them! Whenever you are on the road you see people always talking on the phone. Yesterday, Danny and I cracked up and shook our heads we passes an SUV the mom, and two kids were all on their cell phones!! Danny said you think they are talking to one another :lmao: My mom does that every time she gets in the car to go somewhere with my dad she always pulls her phone and calls someone. Whatever happened to riding with someone and enjoying conversation. And Texting!!!! that drives me nuts--Gwendolyn does not talk on her cell phone she text everything!!!! :headache: and I know sometimes she is driving and I end up chewing her out when she gets home!

This generation is losing the art of conversation and just plain being polite to people around you in a doctor's ofc, the store, everywhere in general. I know you understand what I am trying to say; I just don't think I'm phrasing it correctly!!

Whoa! I need to get off of this...anyway we are having a rainy day...Dayne has not called me back yet to let me know how things are going over there on the coast. I hope they are still able to have a great day. Rain today and tomorrow!!!

Hope ya'll dry out!!! and enjoy the cooler temps!!
:sunny:

Oh! and the bake sale thing...the funny thing is here when I was involved with the PTA...we did the unspeakable...and yes I was part of it and did not give it a second thougt...if we did not know the family that sent in the item we put it on the end of the table way to the side--so, in a way I can understand that decision! Most times that I sent something it was store bought...you just never know what comes out of someones house.

So, as I said I understand all these rules but it should be personal decisions not the governments!! Even bake sales!! my choice to tell my child to buy the store bought item or the cupcake that Ms. Ginny made!! you know where I'm going with this one too!

and with all the allergies that kids are presenting with these days...snacks from home will a thing of the past very soon!

That is a sweet thing to say. I'm sitting here trying to decide what's for dinner and dessert tonite. Austin does not like roast and we do but we all know I have to do what everyone likes. Altho one look at me you know I don't care at all. :rotfl:

Don went to his folks yesterday. His dad is really having a hard time. I know the Morphine makes him hallucinate so he is having that and the Alzheimers is getting really bad. Which is unusual that is progressing so fast. I think it is more of the tumor going to his brain than the Alzheimers. They did say the tumor is in his brain now. Poor Grandma. She is really having a hard time.

Don is napping in his chair. He didn't get home till 9:30 last night.

Hope you are having a good day. It got cold here last nite but should be about 55 and we have mostly sun today.

Give my precious Peter pan a big hug and kiss for me.

Ginny

Good Morning Connie :sunny:. Sorry I haven't been over here in a while :guilty:. I am starting to feel human again so I need to catch up with all my friends and get to posting my TR. I wish I could go shopping at the Disney store. I always spend way too much money when I go. We have one in the mall here, but I'm not crazy about going to the mall anymore. I worked in the mall for so many years I grew tired of it. I like a mall with a good food court and they closed the food court in our mall years ago to put in a Target. I know I am rambling :sad2: I hope you have a great Sunday!!!

Good Day!! Ginny
we are having a very lazy day...trying to keep Danny inside out of the weather! he has a horrible sinus/resp cold probably infection...the new Humeria injections seem to be keeping him down and I'm sure the smoking does not help (it is one of the side effects). It is very dreary here the cold front that passed yesterday (with NO change in temps) is passing back through today as a warm front! :headache:

hope your Sunday is relaxing!!!

Glad you're back Dana!! Glad to hear you are feeling better!! I cannot wait to hear and see what you do have to report about the trip...I love your new siggie--so you are planning for a 4 month return and Amanda graduates in 6 mo how exciting...I can't wait to say that about Gwendolyn. I think she is struggling again this semester she won't talk about school. Usually a bad sign!!
Have a great day today!!!
:wave2: Connie

We are having a very lazy day!! I woke up with Danny and rearranged the living room furniture (in the dark mind you--Joe walked through and asked if I needed help; No, just don't like it this way....the kid must think I'm nuts)
I have no place to put a Christmas tree and I could not see my fireplace (we have Joe's sofa in the living room w/ our furniture as well as all Peter Pan's toys :headache:--starting to get to me :sad2: )

Peter Pan is playing w/his dinosaurs at the moment so I thought I would do some visiting while he was occupied!

Hello! Lisa, I had seen for the news that ya'll are getting a great deal of rain! We have periods of sun than clouds but no rain, yet!! we are forcasted for popcorn storms because of the heat...almost 90 today :scared1: WE are also forcasted for rain until Thursday!! but, Saturday is suppose to be :sunny: and barely to 70!! I hope they are right we are going to try and plan to go to a local farm for a hayride and pumpkin patch! We have never done that so it should be fun!! Try and stay dry and be careful out on the roads today!!

Everyone have a wonderful day!!! we are just being lazy today; I did my part before the sun came up:rotfl2: !!!
:wave2: Connie
