Thanks! everyone for the well wishes! after a 30 min nap today I took an Aleve! and the worse part seems to be over...just feel like I have a hangover, now! get to sleep late tomorrow should help the rest!

Had Chloe till seven (her mom had to work late) they were so cute...I use to have her three nights a week until 9; So, I would feed her dinner and give her a bath. So, I gave her and Ashton a bath they were so funny washing one another's backs! I use to have ABC letters in the tub, but, when G & J moved in I moved Ashton out of that bathroom into mine; they both kept asking where are the ABC's (my little scholars).

Chloe BTW does have trigger thumb according to her pediatric ortho they do not give kids steroid inj for this ; they go straight to surgery. So, my baby girl is going to have to have surgery on her thumb--her mom goes Thursday to set it up. She is thinking the second week of Oct.

Aren't children that age so precious. They forget nothing. Unless it is something you want them to remember.

Poor Chloe. That is so sad. It still amazes me how a little one like that can get it. Surgery is scary on a little one. You should know first hand. That is a hard thing for a Mom to go through.

My new copier arrived today and I'm all excited.

Lucky you. Right now we have sun. It will not last. Supposed to rain late tomorrow and quit early Friday. Maybe we can get in a soccer match tomorrow before it hits and the football Friday nite.

Having the scanner on the copy/fax machine means I can work on pix here instead of having to wait till I get home. One more reason to continue working. Huh? I guess whatever gives me incentive to work is good.

Glad you are feeling better! Poor little Priness having to have her thumb operated on. Good thing about children is how quickly they get over things like that. So I'm hoping it won't be too bad for her. But I couldn't imagine my little Mitchell having to go through surgery and on his hand, no less! Sending sweet girl hugs!

we are having a breakfast snack! at the moment...gold fish, trail mix, and crackers w/can squirt cheese yum! (not really) but they are happy! the little prince picked what he wanted and his little princess is happy to oblige the menu!
Gumbo for an early lunch; little princess has an appt for her hand today and leaving early!

Gotta love squirt cheese and crackers. It is staple at our house. So nutricious. NOT! Hope things go well with our princess.

Oh! I would sooooo love some really good hot doughnuts about now!! they quit delivering Krispy Kremes on this area--store doughnuts just not the same. I think they lied and eating them all cause I know for a fact the guy that lives down the road works for them.

I love hot glaze, chocolate, jelly filled & cream filled w/or w/o the powdered sugar! can you tell I'm not picky! leave off the milk please! don't even want to think of how the insulin reacts to that!!!--ooohhh! beignets would be good too! I wonder if Danny would make a Cafe Dumonde stop on the way home....

Guess I'm a minority! I L-O-V-E squirt cheese in a can! When I was PG with Mitchell, I ate a lot of that on Wheat Thins. I think I thought b/c they said "wheat" they were healthy!

And I wondered why I was gaining one and two pounds a week. Hmmm....

OH! Mel I didn 't mean I don't like it; just not for breakfast...I love it with those chicken biscuit crackers (whatever they are called). I refuse to buy it though....my mom buys it for dayne and now DS3 likes it too! If it is in the house that is all Dayne will eat. the kid is 6' tall and as skinny as a pole...he needs real food to develop some sort of muscle tone! tells me last night after he ate half the can..."i'm getting fat" yeah he wishes...

I am way picky on donuts. We had a donut shop just blocks from our house when the girls were small. Our dear friends ran it then when they retired a couple bought it out and her dad started Dunkin donuts, sold it then started Winchells. She knows her donuts. She still has 2 shops here in town. When we get a hankerin we go visit Katie. Sheri stopped there on Friday and got 3 doz assorted. Her choc. iced cinnamon rolls are my absolute fav. Austin shared a bite with me. What a sweetie.

Connie we always stop at Cafe Dumonde when in NO. We are glad they put one at the pier for the cruises. Saves us having to go to the quarter. We have the grandkids hooked on them too. Maybe I do need to come down there. Can you say ROAD TRIP?

OMG. Now I'm wanting doughnuts. I used to really eat a lot of them, back when I could eat things like that and get away with it. Krispy Creme Chocolate covered, creme filled ones are my absolute fave. Every once in awhile an attorney will bring us a fresh baked box and of course, I'd indulge myself!

That is true he would like that better than 2 grumpy old men. We can't stay out past 9 if Don goes. He turns into a pumkin about that time. And I do have to be back to tuck the little prince in bed. Or he couldl just sleep with me at the hotel. We could sit up all night and play. I will return him when he is good and tired the next morning. I am liking this evil plan. This is gonna be fun. Should we do this in October after we ride the coast?
