So, I was supossed to be in Disney World a month ago(Aug.12-Aug.18)..but unfotunetly I had to cancel because my grandparents renewed their vows and if I would have been in Disney I would have missed it. My grandparents never had a real wedding so 50 years later they decided to do it. It was beautiful and everyone had a blast, so I am glad I wasn't in Disney during it. But I was so bummed when i had to cancel!

I was going to Disney with my DBF. We have been together for two years, going on three, and he has never been to WDW before! I was so excited to finally take him. I seriously talk about it all the time. My family and I were in Disney last in October 2009, and DBF wasn't able to come with us. You know I still talk about that trip and look at the pictures with him. I can't help it, I am OBSESSED. :cutie:

But we had to cancel and can I just tell you, Disney makes that nearly IMPOSSIBLE to do...
The two of us went in my room with my phone and all of our info for the trip (ADR's, Reservation #..etc.) and as we are waiting for them to put a representitive on the phone they are playing songs from the rides, I was dying. I didn't wanna do it! And when we finally got someone he was asking me if I wanted to switch it to another date, I told him I wasn't sure when we were going to make it there because we both work so we have to get the dates approved at work first so we were just calling to cancel for now and when we can, we will book another vacation with them for sure. I was so upset I cried.:sad1:

But now I am happy, because we are going this time!! The dates are February 13th-February 18th 2011. I cannot wait and DBF is super excited. I told him I refuse to cancel this time, I don't care who is getting married. haha.

Let me introduce us!
My name is Stephanie, I am 20 and this will be my third time going to WDW. My first time ever in Disney was in 2001, I was 11 and my grandmother(yes, the one that just got remarried) took me to Disneyland in California. Then in 2005 I went to WDW with my family for the first time, and my mom have been obsessed since. We are both constantly online looking up dates to go. We recently got to go again in October 2009 and my grandparents came along with us. We had a really good time, but I missed my DBF! He stayed at my house and watched my doggies while we were away, because he could not get off from work.

My DBF is Stevie, he is 21 years old and he cannot wait to get to WDW! He is sick of hearing about it and would like to experience it all for himself. He has been dealing with my Disney obsession for over two years now, and he wants to see what it is all about. I cannot wait to go because I know he is going to LOVE it.

This is us:

I cannot wait to have a picture of us in WDW to put up!:woohoo:

As we were planning this trip we were trying to decide on a date that makes sense. We both have birthdays in March, I am thee 24th, he is the 30th. But DBF has recently joined the Navy and we do not know if he will be here for those dates, so we needed something sooner. Then my mom came to me with these dates, I didn't even realize she did it so that we would be in Disney for Valentine's Day. When I first saw the dates I was like these are random .

We are going to be staying at All Star Music Resort. I have stayed at All Star Movies and Caribbean Beach Resort before, and I really enjoyed the All Stars. DBF wanted to stay at Corronado Springs, but we got such a good deal this time and I told him that if we do All Star Music this time, we will deffinetly do Corronado Springs next time. :thumbsup2

We will be arriving at MCO at 9:55PM on the 13th. I am a little bummed about this, only because throughout our entire trip MK only has extra magic hours that night. Every other night we are there MK closes at 8PM, but the first night we are there they are open till 12AM and I did not get tickets for that day because we are not arriving till like 10PM. But I am happy we will be in WDW at all so I can't complain.

We got 5 day park hoppers, I did not get water parks because when I asked about the weather in February they told me the warmest it will be is 73 degress. But, the pools are heated and are 80 degress all of the time. But we only have 5 days, so I would rather hop from park to park and swim at the resort, then try to squeeze in water park time. DBF is a little bummed about this because he really wanted to go to Typhoon Lagoon for the wave pool and the crush and gusher water coasters. Maybe I will add water parks and surprise him, but for right now I am satisfied with what I have. If anyone has ever been to WDW in February and think it is worth it to add water parks please let me know! I have never been in February so I can only go by what I was told about the weather at that time.

I upgraded to DDP for this trip it was only $100 more, which I think is totally worth it! I cannot wait to book my reservations!COLOR]

While we are there the park hours are as follows:

Animal Kingdom
14th: 8-6 w/ extra magic hrs in the morning.
15th: 9-6
16th: 9-9 w/ extra magic hrs at night.
17th: 9-6
18th: 9-6

Epcot-Future World & World Showcase
14th: 9-7 & 11-9
15th: 9-7 & 8-9 w/ extra magic hrs in the morning.
16th: 9-7 & 11-9
17th: 9-7 & 11-9
18th: 9-12 w/ extra magic hrs at night. & 11-9

Hollywood Studios
14th: 9-10 w/ extra magic hrs at night.
15th: 9-7
16th: 9-7
17th: 9-8 w/ extra magic hrs at night.
18th: 9-7

Magic Kingdom
14th: 9-8
15th: 9-8
16th: 9-8
17th: 8-8
18th: 8-8

I did not include our first night there, because we are not arriving till late, so I didn't get tickets for that day (the 13th).

Parades/Shows/Fireworks:

Magic Kingdom
Wishes is every night at 8PM
Dream Come True Parade is everyday at 3PM
The Spectromagic Parade is the 14th and the 17th at 7PM

Epcot
Illuminations is every night at 9PM

Hollywood Studios
Block Party Bash is everyday at 3PM
Fantasmic is the 13th and the 17th at 7PM and 7:30PM

Animal Kingdom
Jammin' Jungle Parade is everyday at 3:45PM

Now I just have to figure out when I am going to what parks :cutie:

So we have decided to change our resort. We are now going to be staying at Pop. I was originally going to go with Pop but I changed to All Star Music and DBF just called and switched to Pop. He likes it better, and since this is going to be his first time going, I let hime choose.

Also, I am super excited because I found cheaper air fare and if I go with the newer air fare then I will be arriving early in the morning instead at night on the 13th, so I will be able to go to Magic Kingdom my first night there for extra magic hrs till 12AM :woohoo:.

We also just did our dinning reservations. We will be eating at the following resturants:
OHANA
CAPE MAY CAFE
SAN ANGEL INN
BOMA
WHISPERING CANYON
CHEF MICKEY'S (breakfast)

I am both excited and nervous about these choices because I have never been to most of them. I have been to Ohana and I loved it! And I have been to Chef Mickey's and I love the theme and the characters but the food was blah when I was there in Oct. 2009 :confused3. So I decided to try the breakfast at Chef Mickey's this time, because I really love it there.

But I have never been to Cape May Cafe, San Angel Inn, Boma, or Whispering Canyon. I have heard good things about all of them though.
If anyone has been to any of these resturants please let me know how your experience was! :thumbsup2

So I decided to cancel whispering canyons cafe. I really wanted to eat at Via Napoli, so I switched the reservation for the same time, just a different place. I am so excited, this time last year I was in Disney World and I got to eat at Tutto Italiano and I absolutely loved it there. So I was so excited when Via Napoli opened, and now I am even more excited that I am going to get to eat there! :woohoo:

Just coming to give my two cents on the water park option. It is actually cheaper if you only plan to go spur of the moment to buy admission at the water park then get th plus option. I would only get the water parks, and more option if I was going to go to them more then once and also go to Disney Quest as well.

Thank you! I figured we would be better off that way. I don't really know how the weather is in February and I don't think we will be going to Disney Quest. So I didn't think it was worth it for us. If we do decide to go though I think we will do what you suggested, and just pay for one day addmission. Thanks for helping me out, I really appreciate your suggestion!:cutie:

We are going to be there the same time as you and are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. We arrive late on the 10th and are staying until the 20th.

I'm so glad to hear that you changed your resort there is a cheerleading competition going on and the cheer groups stay at the All Star Resorts and CBR. I hear that it is pretty miserable if you are staying at those resorts at the same time as them.

I'm also glad you were able to change your flights so that you could do MK on your first night there! You guys will have so much fun.

Where did you pick for your Valentine's dinner? We are going to 'Ohana's that night. I'm sure it is not the most romantic restaurant at Disney but I think my family will enjoy it there. I am hoping that we will be able to get a table close to the window so that we can view Wishes from the restaurant.

I can't wait for February...

That is so funny that you will be there at the same time as us. I heard Port Orlene's is beautiful. I am so glad that I changed my resort too!! I had no idea that there would be cheer competition going on at that time. I was thinking about doing Ohana for our Valentine's day dinner, but DBF wants to go the first night. So we will be eating at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort, which I love lol. I want to stay there so bad-some day:goodvibes.
But I let him pick where he wanted to eat and that is what he chose. It is like a clam bake so I am looking foward to it. I have never been there, but I have heard good things about it. :thumbsup2

And I cannot wait for February either!!:cutie:
