Okay I am new to this so pardon the typos and redundant posts (there is 6 months till my vacation so I am sure I will be repeating myself at some point. ;) )

Now to this trip... Well I have been bugging my DH since the second we pulled out of the parking lot from the last vacation to WDW in Sept. 2007 to go back. I knew we wouldn't be going in 2008 because we welcomed baby #3 into our family in Dec. 2007 so it was a little out of the budget. I prayed and hoped for a 2009 vacation and thought it was out of the question. (Well it was until about a month ago.) I got a phone call one evening from me DH who found out that they would be getting a bonus that was not suppose to happen and that he had been looking at some Pictures of POR (that is where we stayed the last time). Anyway he asked how much it would cost and of course I knew because I plan my Dream vacations all the time even if they don't happen..LOL He said to get the information for him and we would talk about it... (For all us WIVES.. you know that is Code for Go ahead and MAKE THE PLANS:rolleyes1 ) WOO HOO!

He wanted to go for a Moderate Resort because that is where we stayed before but I convinced him that staying at POP Century for a week was cheaper than a moderate for 5 days.. (We can always hope and Call for an upgrade..:wizard: ) Plus We are hoping for Free Dining!! So A week is what I booked with the Dining plan (which I am hoping is Free) at POP Century. AGAIN..WOOHOO!!

To tell you about us..
First ME (Tes) 32 - I am the obsessive planner, Lover of Disney and Stay at Home Mom.. Although to clarify that more I am the appointment setter, Homework Checker, Boo Boo Kisser, Personal Taxi and Chef to my brood.
Next DH ("D") 33 - He is the Moneymaker (althought not enough for both our liking) He is the ying to my yang. We have been married for 9 years in May. He is the best Daddy! And to my surprise he loved Disney... (I questioned it until about our first trip)
DD (THE PRINCESS) 6 - She is in Kindergarten and is super smart almost to the point she is bored but thank heavens she has a wonderful teacher who keeps her challenged. She is a good big sister, but I really think she is a teen in a 6 year olds body because the Attitude is HHHHUUUUGGGGEEEE
DS#1 (Shark Teeth, or Little bud) 3 - He is my mamma's boys... (He will one day make me be "The Mother -In - Law") LOL! He is my walking medical bill not that he has serious issues just many mysterious issues. He also has some severe allergies to Peanuts, Treenuts and Green Peas.. (We love WDW for the way they accomodate food allergies!!)
DS#2 (Bo Bo) 1 - My baby... he is the last according to DH, but we will see ;-)... Bo is a bully, a cuddler, a little spit fire. He hasn't realized what food tastes like in that he only eats a very limited diet.. grrrr! But when you look at him you wouldn't guess he was a picky eater cuz he is a big boy. For him we have an Egg allergy and Dairy intollerance. YAY!!
We live in the Heart of Ohio's Snowbelt/about 30 miles East of Cleveland. The weather here is very unpredictable.. it could snow in april, or october be 100 degree in July and August and everything and anything in between.

I Guess it would be a good idea for me to explain the "Out Numbered" idea. Well for starters My DH and I have three small kids which is not uncommon but for some reason most in my family think I need lots of help with them. I get comments like "You took them to the mall by yourself?" "You went to the grocery store with all of them?" "How Come you didn't call I could have went and helped you out so you won't have to take them by yourself." and so on.... Plus the last time we went to WDW our family trip that exended to my mother.. grew to include my stepdad and then my brother, SIL and Niece 3 at the time. It didn't work out so well... So this time it is a true family vacation me, DH and the Kids. Even if my family thinks we are crazy!! They (the kids) are only young once.
That is us.. Next time I will post about the tentative plans for the trip!:cheer2:

As promised here are my tentative plans...

We will leave Ohio on Friday Early AM (and since our reservations don't start until Sun.) We will stop in to see Friends Friday night and stay at their house in NC. (This is the reason for the trip, or that is what we are telling the kids, the Actual Disney trip is a secret.) Since it will take just over 10 hours from our friends house in NC we will leave around 12 or 1 and stop either in Brunswick GA. or Jacksonville FL. for the night. (we want to be far enough away that the kids will just think that mommy and daddy need to rest and we will finish the trip "Home" the next day.) We will then wake up and finish the trip leaving about 8 or 9 depending on where we stop. I plan on stopping at Walmart and then having lunch somewhere outside the park.. - Or Maybe at T-rex if I can find the menu and prices.

Okay now for OUR ACTUAL VACA.. All depending on the park hours which I am anxiously waiting to be released.

DAY #1 = Check in
Epcot World Showcase - Dinner at Teppan Edo
-or-
???? (Park) - Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

DAY#2 - Chef Mickey Breakfast
Magic Kingdom

DAY #3 - Whispering Canyon Dinner or Teppan Edo Dinner
Epcot

Day #4 - 50's Diner Dinner
Hollywood Studios

DAY#5 - 1900 Park Fare Dinner or Whispering Canyon Dinner
Magic Kingdom

DAY #6 TuskerHouse Breakfast
Animal Kingdom

Day #7 (We plan on using any leftover CS meals)
Anything we want to see again or Magic Kingdom
and Head for home around 2pm stop in Charlotte for the night. (As long as the NASCAR race isn't in Charlotte that weekend).

We are opting for the base ticket not the park hopper so that we are forced to see the park at a more leisurely pace and not trying to jump from park to park for meals which is what we did before.

All these are probably going to change 18 times before I even get to make the reservations. LOL

THE KIDS ARE SICK TODAY SOO OFF TO TEND TO THEM!

This waiting is Killing me... Believe me I don't want to age faster than anyone else in the world but why can't the next 6 months go by faster? :confused3 Oh well I will continue to fill my days sneaking a peak at the Disboards and living vicariously through everyone elses trip reports and pictures. I secretly think to myself how can I top that vacation knowing full well that at DIsney you don't need to top anyones vacation because everyone has a magical vacation.

Well I have been think more and more about the trip down to Orlando. I really think its going to be exciting if we can keep this secret from the kids until we drive under the Walt Disney World Sign. (I hope the Driveway to Pop Century is after the sign and that we get to drive under it. ) I think we will try to Visit T-rex for Lunch that way we can eat a late Dinner and be satisfied.

I want to start packing but I know that is CRAZY!!:rotfl2: I have started my packing lists in my head. I have tons of questions for those who have stayed at Pop. (I originally wanted to try for an upgrade, but the more I hear about Pop the more I want to stay there.. Except I hear that it sells out and I am fearful for the bus service.. (As long as I am not driving who cares right?)

Meanwhile on the home front I am dealing with 2 sick kids one a lot worse than the other.. guess who that could be??? Yep that would be the walking medical bill. The have managed to get me sick with a horrible head cold! Yay Me!! We have several things to look forward to in the next few weeks. We have a birthday celebration for DS#1 - he is turning 3 in April. Easter is always a fun time here! Dentist Appointments for the oldest two, and then DS#1 Appointment to find out about his IEP for next year. I will look forward to this all being over really soon.

Crossing my fingers for Free Dining to be released soon. :wizard:

I called today to secure free dining I got a little nervous because I called at 7:20 (I had to have some time the coffee to brew cause no one wants to talk to me before I get some coffee in me) The told me that I needed to call back because they were having computer issues.... See Good thing I had so Coffee.... The kids soon woke up and I had to put the deed at hand to rest for a bit, at least until the oldest went off to kindergarten because I think she is starting to decifer the "code". I called again at 11:00 and got through right away and they said that the Free Dining had already been placed on my reservation and that there would be a credit toward my Credit Card for the cost of the Dining plan (i already had paid for it.) Anyway We are NOW breathing easy and it is official we are going!!! WOOOO HOOOO!:wizard:

Okay I need to clarify that last statement... DH said that if Free Dining wasn't offered we would be taking our vacation somewhere else, I know it seems a little greedy to be basing our whole trip of Free meals but this is for several reasons... 1. the trip to WDW from our home is at the very least 19 or 20 hours (with 3 small children 1 being potty trained) that trip will be several hours longer. ;) and 2. Meals are not fun for our brood... I mean we despise taking the kids out to eat so if we are gonna do it we would like it to be Free or very Cheap cause if we had to pay for the meals at Disney we would not be the most pleasant parents. :lmao: and 3. Well how can you not hope for Free Dining I mean it is a 600 + dollar savings..

I am still working on a game plan for our vacation I wished the Park hours and EMHours would be posted... I just looked and found out that MNSSHP will be held 2 times during our trip. (We will attend neither). But this does change our park plans. So That will come soon...

I found flights for the four of us who need tickets the cost is less than 550 I am so excited!! I think I talked DH into flying just from the length of the drive alone. So I booked the flights yesterday! Vacations reservations had to be changed too because our flights are for tuesday to tuesday while out original reservation was for Sat. to Sun. I called to have Disney change my dates and discovered that Pop century was not available during those last days.. but All Star Movies was but only in a prefered room... so I discussed this with my Dh and poof it was booked! Sure I am sad that we have to wait two more days for vacation to start but the fact that it will take 2 1/2 hours to get there instead of 20 is music to my ears!!!
