We Are On The Magic Right Now!!!

We are unable to go to the Cayman Islands today because of rough seas,the laundry room on the 2nd floor is closed do to leaking from rough seas. Our friends are unable to get to their room due to leaks from the ceiling in the main hall way to their room, they must take a detour. The weather is over cast and 77 degrees. We have an extra sea day do to missing the cayman islands. Cozemul is going to be 83 and beautiful tommorrow tho.

Yes best of luck to them, I last read this, on the transatlantic cruise to the Med and the lower decks had 'damp' problems, ok Leaks.

There was just one hallway that was leaking it just happened to be the hallway our friends are located and the 2nd floor laundry, everything is fine now and the halls are freshly cleaned as well.This cruise is great, the weather is beautiful, awesome pina coladas and the kids are having a great time!!! I'm so glad we did professional pictures last night on formal night.Life just gets to busy to take time out for nice family portaits so I'm glad we had them done last night.Any questions?

Sounds like you're having a good cruise in spite of missing a port - and that's good news that the leak was fixed. My office building is full of leaks.

Isn't the Magic going into drydock this fall?

Yes, the Magic will be in dry dock for three weeks in Sept 2008 in Norfolk Virginia. According to Christian (crusie director) they plan on replacing the carpets, repaint and upgrade the staterooms among other items. We may take a trip down there (3 hours from our home) too see her in dry dock.

The Magic does not have any engine troubles. I was on the Magic last week,3/15/08 - 3/21/08, and we made St. Marteen and St. Thomas on time and and were able to dock. We did a arrive at Castaway Cay 2 hours late but this was due to the high seas on Thursday (day at sea) that resulted from a storm front that we ended up chasing all the way to Cay. Once there, with the seas still high, the Magic docked without a problem.
