When we were at 50s Prime Time last week, we ask if DD could substitute a milkshake for the drink. No go. And, we were also on DxDP.

We also ate at the Plaza and I don't think we actually asked the question. I will say, however, that I would forego the milkshake there for a Brownie Sundae. It was HUGE and absolutely positively delicious!

I would ask, if you really want one...most places we asked the answer was yes. No refills on the milkshakes, though. And not on kids dining plan, only for adults. Now the Plaza might be one that says no for your beverage, since milkshakes are a dessert there (all ice cream based desserts) However, since you're getting an app (typically soup or salad at The Plaza) & entree (we had hot sandwiches & french fries) you may not be wanting a dessert at the end anyway...in which case if you want a milkshake as your drink, then you might want to order the milkshake as your dessert & ask for it to be served with your food.

This is what we usually find also. I've always been able to get the peanut butter/jelly shake at 50's Prime Time (adult, not a child). Last fall I was refused at the Plaza and told I could only get it as a dessert.

OT: but I've also gotten milkshakes/smoothies as my beverage at Whispering Canyon, the Wave, Konas, and Le Cellier. I've gotten virgin mixed drinks at Artist Point, Yachtsman, Flying Fish, California Grill, Mama Melrose, Konas, and maybe a few other places, but have been refused at Yak & Yeti.
