i think !!

we have seen a house nearby that is similar to ours but is near to dd's school and friends, because she doesn't go to her catchment school we are not near enough to it for her to play out with her friends or walk to school
so we have decided to see if we can sell our house and move nearer to the school (ds will hopefully start there in september as well )

i am not looking forward to having people nosy around our house tho

I have to say Natalie, that we took this step a few years back and moved back to the village I'd grown up in (and spent all my teenage years vowing to leave as I didn't live in "town" where all my friends were )

We have not regretted it for a moment! The children can walk toschool and manay of their friends live a few moments' walk away. Fantastic. Best thing we ever did, house - buying wise!

its started already, the agents have had a call from a lady who rents in our street making enquiries about our house ......the board only went up this morning !!
( i bet i know who she is as well ) still i am guilty of being nosy about other peoples houses so i can't complain to loudly

Hi Natalie
Iknow just how you feel. We have just sold our house within 4 weeks but I was sick to death of having to rush around the house before a viewing with the hoover and mop even though I had done a Kim and Aggie job on it only days earlier. Also my DS was distraught when he saw all of his toys in the garage.
The thing is we haven't found anywhere so will probably have to go into rented to put us in the best position and we are going to WDW early October so no doubt I will be a nervous wreck before then.
Best advice my sister gave me (she is a valuer) was to not say much (difficult for me) and let them walk into a room first - oh and make sure the doors are pulled to!
