We are more dangerous than the terrorists!

That just made me ill. So, so sad:sad2: :sad1: :sad1:

Cuckoo...cuckoo...cuckoo....

The sad thing is, I recently watched a public education film from the 1950s about the "threat of homosexuality," how gays have a "sickness," recruitment of youngsters, etc. and was horrified that such an attitude existed and was spouted publicly. Fast forward to 2008...good Lord, it STILL exists and is being spouted publicly!! :scared1:

Often times the person doing the hating is infact a homosexual living the life of a hetero because they are too ashamed to come to terms with what they really are. The biggest protesters, turn out to be what they hate so much but will never admit it, to either themselves or the rest of the world or both.

Im sure you add in some major resentment that there are those that live an out lifestyle only angers these people more because they cant come to terms with what they in fact are. I really believe that if they can make homosexuals seem as depraved and dirty as they possibly can they are reinforcing to themselves they are making the "right choice" in their made up lives.

I do think that is, sadly, the case in a good number of these instances--but certainly not all. Sometimes I meet people who just seem to need to hate someone (not a need/feeling that I understand at all). For some, they have just been hearing it their whole lives and aren't as good at seeing clearly as grown ups as some others are (some people grow up hearing that homosexualoty is evil and still manage to form their own seperate opinions when the mature so I do not buy the you can't change argument).

I did not look at the link, because I just get so worked up, and I can feel my BP rise when I read or hear of things like this.

I think what Craig meant is uneducated in the sense that they don't know anything about gay and lesbian people......they believe what they hear, they don't know ( and don't care to know)..... that gay and lesbian people are just like anyone else, they work, they have families, they fall in love, they fall out of love, they get married, they take vacations, they eat dinner, they ride a bike, they take their kids to school, they have a house, they love disney, they hate disney ( gasp!), they go to the movies, they grocery shop, and on and on and on..........just people living their lives.

Mmm, I know!!

And you can't be forced/"converted" to being gay/lesbian (etc)

It's not like we wake up in the morning:
"I'm gay".

The next morning:
"I think I'll be straight today."

You can't change it; it's how you are born.

The nerve of these people :sad2:

Some of them know that and hate anyway. Some can know someone, love them, and then when they learn of their orientation, hate them. It's pitiful. It's shameful. It's downright sad.

I spent ages 9-26 in Oklahoma.

Oh I completly agree, thats why I said often times, not all times ;)

Ok I am confused maybe someone can help me. First I am going to come out and tell yinz that I am from Pittsburgh Pa, born and raised (just incase you didn't know from my screen name.;) ) Anyway Pittsburgh is controlled by gays? If it is I missed the whole thing! :confused3

Pittsburgh is controlled by gays?!?! Dan Onarato? Luke Ravenshtall?! Wow! I knew there was a reason they were constantly in "board" meetings together. :rotfl:

What I meant by "uneducated" isn't the fact that doctors, lawyers, nurses, the President, Senators, teachers, etc aren't well learned (learn-ed, you know what I mean!). What I'm talking about is the that they are all fed stereotypes as they go through their adolesant (sp) years, and they keep those with them no matter what they hear anywhere else. I mean, if their parents drilled it into their heads that Cats and Dogs were really the leaders of the world, they would still think that even though they had been told otherwise. I know, bad analogy, but you know what I mean!! LOL.
Either way, they're making their statements based on information that has been revoked, and even proved incorrect. THAT'S why their idiots.

Hmmmm so do you think since they are "family" I can get a drink tax exemption? :rotfl: 10% is killing me....not that I drink ...that much....:rolleyes1

On a serious note the HRC sent this to me today, so if any of you want to take action here is really easy way to do so!

I don't think so, they don't give any relief to anyone. Recently there was a place by my house that had a billboard out saying: "Dan, give us a break, put a bus stop here!" LOL.

Bummer.:sad1:

Where my Mom works they actually put a line on your check that says "Dan Tax" so the customers know it is not them that are charging the extra 10%.

And another way off topic item.....did you see how much the bus drivers make!! My god had I known that I would have never went to college! (Ok yes I would have, I love what I do , and I know the drivers go through tons of stuff that is difficult everyday.)

I know this one is older , meaning they get paid even more now!

The video is removed from that link.

A gay son. That is so stupendously sad, I can't stand it. Can you imagine having a mother like her? I know there are loads of people out there who cannot or will not accept their gay child, but she is one of the top worst.

I found her remarks obscene and very offensive. I cannot imagine being her child.

Let's send that poor man some pixie dust, shall we?

Control the educational system? Oh puh-leeze! I can't get 6 gay guys to agrees on a restaurant.

Hey, thanks Orlando Mike!

John, it's not just the guys that can't agree! LOL! Ask seven of us lesbians if the temperature in the room is ok, and you'll get seven different answers! LOLOLOLOL!

Right. Control the educational system.

You know? We really could take her hate filth and counterpoint it sentence by sentence, but would it really matter? This woman is a mother of a gay son, and she believes it's a deadly lifestyle and that he is more dangerous than a terrorist. I don't think reason, or logic is in her makeup.

Um...does anyone remember Mary Cheney??? The Vice-president's LESBIAN daughter, who stood BEHIND her dad when he fought to stop legalizing same sex marriages?!?!?! I'm sure her son is as mis-guided as she is, and doesn't think anything of having a mother who condemns his actions. He's probably in SEVERE counseling if I had to guess.
Even if he isn't AND hates what his mother says, I'm sure she has erased all memories from her mind of ever having that child. (Because you know, having a gay child can cause memory loss, blurred vision, tounge swelling and nose bleeds. If these symptoms last more then four hours, please see a Catholic Preist as you may still LOVE your child REGARDLESS of their orientation.)

Thank you, this has been a program brought to you by the letter.....Q...go figure. :)
