This location seems to be perfect! We love the pictures of the pool and clubhouse.

I would love to receive recommendations from those who have stayed there. Do you have a favorite unit? Would you like to share the information, so we can check it out? Did you do business directly with the owner or a rental company?

Thanks for sharing the magic!

We have not stayed yet (I can report next month) but if you would like to check it out, the one we are renting 2/15/08-2/19/08 is here:

I spent a lot of time and researched probably 25 condos and townhouses. This is a townhouse, but it was cheaper than most of the condos I looked into. We got a 3 bedroom, not because we need it (we don't) but because it was cheaper than the 2 bedrooms. This depends on what's available at the time you are going. That's just how it worked out for us. I looked at pictures and prices, and then narrowed it down. There were some owners that weren't very pleasant. They got tossed out. This owner (Patty) has had very good communication with me. She set me quite a few extra pics of her place. I have always dealt directly with her, although when we go, we will pick up our keys from the management company. I also verified her as the owner through a link provided on this board. Hope that helps to let you know how we decided.

We are going in October & staying at mickeys condo dot com in their safari condo.

This is my first time staying at a condo, but I like that his condos are nicely decorated & well equipped, and he seems very pleasant to do business with.

I've stayed at this townhouse twice. It's a great place.

Ooh, thank you! I have been a little nervous about it, but I'm glad to see someone who's been-there-done-that!

I will post when I get back. I am staying in a 3BR condo at WH through www.floridasunshine.com from Feb17-26 I promise to write a big report and have pictures. I am not doing WDW so my report will be mainly about this place. ;)

Reports are great. We will look forward to hearing about your experience. Please include your experience doing business with the owers/rental company. Have fun!!

Thanks that helps a lot. Let us know how the visit goes. The place sounds great. From what I can gather, most any unit in Windsor Hills is going to be nice. Has anyone posted a bad experience? I haven't found one.

Thanks for the links. Let us know how you like your accommodations. Have a "magical" vacation.

I want to thank Princess Michelle for reconmending fla sun vacations. First of all I enjoyed your trip report. I just made reservations for my nov trip and I have some special request. Today they called me and said they have never had a request like mine. I have asthma and am allergic to bleach. He wanted to make sure the linen would be no problem and they would make sure there would be no bleach smell in the place at all. They were very nice and yes it will cost an extra$30 but at least I know I won't have to worry. Love the place already. The disboards are the greatest, don't know what I would do without you guys and all the great info.!!:cool1: :thumbsup2

I'm considering this one because it sleeps up to 9 and there will be 9 of us in December. We've never stayed at WH, but did rent a house last year and loved it. The only drawback is that this condo is 4 buildings away from the pool. BUT, he quoted me only $570 for 8 night! I'm loving that!

We just got back from our first family trip to WDW. We stayed in a 3B/3B TH at WH for 3 nights of our trip before moving on to Wilderness Lodge. We rented our TH from Florida Sun Vacation Homes and had a WONDERFUL first rental experience. The place looked just like the pictures and was so CLEAN! I don't know about you, but I use my own version of a rating scale over and above the "normal" clean criteria. I know you know what I mean....like when you look in the corners of the bathrooms and don't see unidentified schmoot, or when the silverware drawer is crumb-less (even in the back) and when you can put food in the fridge without having to worry whether it touches the sides? It was like being at home, only decorated much nicer!! It was called Bambi's Bungalow (am I allowed to say the name?). It had a heated splash pool in the back that the kids LOVED!!! We couldn't figure out how to work the jets in the pool, but we were so busy we didn't call the mgmt company til the day before we left, which was a Sunday, so when they called back the next morning, it was too late, we had already checked out -- our fault for not calling the first night. Anyway, it was a great experience and we won't hesitate to rent from them again!!!

Most of the sites mentioned require at least a three night stay. We only need a villa for two nights. I found a site called Orlando4StarVillas that doesn't require this. Has anyone heard of this place and have any input they can share?
