That is so great, that you and Hazel have Melody and EB for tablemates! My two favorite DISers, together! LOL! Also, it's so cool that you have WDW CMs rounding out the table. I'm sure you are all enjoying some great conversations.

So glad you are blessed with beautiful weather. I wish I could be there (oh, how I wish!), but this is almost as good.

Hazel and I were staked out on the Family Beach by 9am. We had plenty of sun and warm temps (no snow or ice at all). We came back to the ship a little after 1pm and Hazel is up in our cabin taking a nap. I think the sun got to her a little bit more than she thought it would, but the sun sure felt GREAT to me!!! BTW, for those who are cruising soon, the water on CC was a bit "COOL" but once you get used to it, it "ISN'T" too bad!!!

We had a message on our cabin phone when we arrived back from the beach. Hazel and I have been invited to the ship's bridge at 4:45pm this afternoon to watch the Magic sail away from CC. I guess you know where we will be later this afternoon after we get showers and put on some nice clean duds!!!

We have really enjoyed this anniversary cruise, and are looking forward to our next cruise with DCL!!!

Tonight is Pirates IN the Caribbean, we had this night on our August 2004 cruise, but we didn't have the fireworks with it, we're looking forward to that. We will be dining in Parrot Cay tonight and tomorrow night as well.

I just left guest services to have our tips taken care of, since the ship is nearly empty, this was a perfect time to get this done. It was so nice having Prudence as our server again, she is such a sweetie!!!

I guess that's all I can think of for now, so I need to close, check a few more messages, and get up to our cabin and get a shower.

Andy, how exciting. I got to be on the bridge sailing out of Miami on a Carnival ship once. It was really neat. I hope they let you take some pictures with the Captain and crew up there. Just so much fun and what a great view.

Hi everyone. It was a beautiful day on CC. it was in the low 80's. The water was a little on the cool side but once you get in it warms up. The children loved the program they had for them today. DH went fishing and I had a cabanna massage. It was wonderful. We saw string rays at the adult beach today. Very Cool. I have not seen Andy or Hazel today but I did bump into other DIS'S at CC.
I am on my way to get DD and DS for the Pirate night. I am looking forward to it with the fireworks.
As for tomorrow DH and I will be at the spa and Palo Brunch. All DD and Ds want to do is go to the children's program. I am GLAD theylove it. DD is begging us to go on another DC. I will try to post again tonight -if not I will post tomorrow. This has been such a wonderful cruise. TTYL-Gail

Hello Everyone,

We just left the Pirate deck party and Hazel went to get ready for bed and do some reading, so I came down to the Internet Cafe to do some message checking, and write a quick report.

What an "AWESOME" time Hazel and I had this afternoon. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us, and I'm glad we had our camera with us. At 4:45 we met with Captain Thord on the bridge. Not only did we get our photo taken with him in the bridge, but Hazel and I both got to push the button to sound the ship's horn as we were pulling away from CC today. Pictures will follow after our return to land. I still have chills thinking about it. Thanks Captain Thord for this "MAGICal" experience!!!

I also found out this afternoon, that Captain Thord reads the DISboards to keep abreast of everyone's feelings and comments, about DCL.

After the bridge tour we attended the Castaway Club reception, where over 400 repeat were gathering for drinks and light snacks. Gail, we saw Steve there, but we missed you tonight. Hazel and I then attended a Variety show with magician and vertriloquist Michael Harrison, this show was very funny and we really enjoyed it!!!

Next, we were off to dinner and the "Pirates IN the Caribbean" deck party.

Friday will be a day at sea with three showings of "Disney Dreams."

I guess that's all I have to report for tonight, I really hate to see this cruise come to an end, but all nice things do. It will just make me more excited about our next MAGICal journey!!!

Sounds like you are having fun andy. I am friends dcl president who was on our 10 night cruise with us. He invited me up to bridge when we left CC and Captain Thord let me press the horn to. Wasnt it amazing. I couldnt belive it. Enjoy the last few days of your trip.

I just had to add...Thanks to those aboard the Magic this week who have so graciously taken the time to keep us posted.

It adds fuel to my daydreaming "fire".
When it's 18 degrees ouside, and your cruise is over 8 months away, daydreaming is all you have!

Wow, what a wonderful day we had today at Castaway Cay.

The weather was just absolutely perfect. We had a brief shower early in the day but the rest of the day was wonderful. As Andy reported the water temperature was cool but once you got used to it, it was fine.

We saw stingrays and a huge (dinnerplate size) starfish at the adult beach. Amazing!!

I saw Andy and Hazel at the Pirates deck party and he told me about his meeting with the captain. He was still smiling from ear to ear when he told me about it. What a great treat for him... it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

We enjoyed the Pirate Deck Party too.Aren't the fireworks great?We took some photos of the fireworks which came out great.This was very surprising!

That is good to know that Captain Thorg reads the Disboards.He is so friendly.We truly enoyed our week on the Disney Magic.Time just went by so fast.
