Suppose to leave 4 AM Saturday 8/2. Daughter in law went into labor with their first baby Friday morning 5AM. Had to be there for that! Sat holding Grand baby #8 a beautiful little girl midnight Friday! Started for the Fort 8AM. Drove to Campground in Waltsboro ,SC arrive 9:30PM. Awoke back on the road 8AM Rain! Arrived at Fort 5ish. ITS AMAZING! 700 Loop. Went to underconstruction Downtown Disney for Wedding Anniversary Dinner. Kept saying "can't believe we did it!" Mountains in PA WV and Va really slowed progress.

Wheel chair is working very well. Wife feels bad going to front of line where other much more needy people do. Boat cast members very helpful on trip to Magic Kingdom.Pretty hot and humid. Walked for miles? takin in the sights and sounds. Carousel of progress always neat. (someone stood up and took flash photo caused stoppage and thru off timing.) Monster Laugh thingy funny. Fast pass for 3pm parade. Amazing! Dinner at Plaza Restaurant great. Had kids grilled cheese (cold but fixed immediately) wife had Steak sandwich. started pouring at about 7 o'clock, put ponchos on. (Morning quote from wife "don't take them the suns out think positive!") DH thinks REALISTICALLY !wife wore out wanted to go back to camper and rest but wife had to stop for a scoop of ice cream. She looked cute eating it in her Shamoo the whale poncho! Boat cast members horrible on return but other people helpful. Mean Lady castmember training another. Boat not even with dock, I got the hang of wheelchair operation but she insisted I do it her way. Wouldn't help get up over ledge! I struggled in the rain. Morning trip castmember actually pulled boat down level to help! She reminded me of my mean first grade teacher. Were going to go back for night parade and fireworks but fell asleep to sound of fireworks and boat whistles.

I'm glad you decided to go the wheel chair route. It's not ideal, but it saved a Disney trip.

Spent morning at the Fort. Then visited other resorts. Morning boat CM not Disney friendly. told wife has to get out of chair and must fold chair. I complied but he said fold it more! How? ask if he wanted us to get off. Wilderness lodge is huge! Off to Grand Floridian, WOW! Wife had lunch there. Nice atmosphere! Then monorail to Contemporary. First ride on Monorail was cool! very helpful CMs. Back to Fort by boat (very nice helpful boat CM) HOOP DEE DOO REVIEW was awesome! Anniversary recognition. Fireworks from dock at Fort. Did some "looping" with wheelchair. Checked out campfire and movie,

Morning wild turkeys outside door. Yesterday was Epcot Day. First up SOARIN. Always think we are gonna get our feet wet on the surf! Wife bought a pair of Mickey Ears. So Cute! Walked over to World Showcase. All the way to America Had reservations Lunch at Tutto 2:30. Looked at menu. Nothing interested us, Went to Pizzeria for pizza. Really good and Server and all CMs there were great! One greeter looked like son who just had baby! Took pic sent to sisters and they were amazed! Rode Malestrom, Interesting. then back to see Ellen. Drawbridge up to allow Globe for IllumiNations thru to lake, Also wife enjoyed boat ride thru Greenhouse. Back to World Show Case walk the opposite way thru France, United Kingdom all the way to America for the Theater presentation. Then seating for Illuminations. WOW! always amazed. Monorail (CMs great!) to Trans center>Contemporay>boat to the Fort. Boat CM great along with other guests who helped with wheelchair. No Rain! Dodge golfcarts, bicycles and kids on scooters back to Loop 700 site 720 safely at 11:15.

Sounding great so far. Yeah, Illuminations is probably my favorite show at Disney. My wife and kids don't really get into Epcot too much, which is a shame because I really enjoy the different atmospheres that it offers.

Breakfast at Cape May/Beach Club. Traveled boat to Magic Kingdom>bus to Beach Club. Character visit always fun, watching the kids faces light up when they see them is heartwarming. We always make breakfast an event sat for a few enjoying the atmosphere. Wife wanted to shop at Beach Club and Yacht Club then Went to Downtown. Arrived at noonish, Sunny HOT! 95ish felt like 100. Will call for tickets to La Nouba™ by Cirque du Soleil. Back to the Fort for R&R (nap) woke to thunder and rain. Temp and humidity plunged. About 75ish and comfy. Back to Downtown dreading the Nightmare stories told to us by bus director at bus terminal at MK that morning about returning from Downtown late after show. Crowded! Found some crowd bypass routes behind stores and used path by lake between water taxi stops right to La Nouba™ by Cirque du Soleil venue. Amazing show! Saw it last time but seemed a lot different. Back to Buses for dreaded wait in line. ?? Wheres the lines? Got right on bus (freezing)! back to Fort. Bus driver from Downtown lived in Pittsburgh! (our area). Transfer bus to Settlement. Downtown to Camper only about 40 minutes! CMs all very helpful and friendly today.

Breakfast at the Fort. Bus to Hollywood Studios. Never been there. Wow! Indiana Jones stunt spectacular was just that SPECTACULAR! Walt Disneys One Mans Dream on the list to see. Least crowded attraction! What does E.P.C.O.T. stand for? Very interesting rags to riches to rags to riches story! American Idol interesting but----. Muppet 3D really cool and refreshingly funny. The Great Movie Ride was very interesting and entertaining. And of course FANTASMIC! Another WOW! Fireworks while walking out and SNOW IN DISNEY! Ill let YOUR imagination take that one! Buses very crowded. First rude comment bout wheel chair. And it was a Fort person! Honestly my wife doesn't want to be in the wheel chair! Last time live report from Fort leaving tomorrow early?AM.
