Hi all,

Just got to dl yesterday mid afternoon staying @dlh. I will write more later since I am using dh's iPhone and it's hard to type!

The parks were crowded but not unbearable. Also we don't go on crazy rides that are popular since we have young kids. We rode buzz, poc, autopia carousel, new Orleans rr, all w/no wait or a 15 min wait. This was @4pm in the afternoon so I didn't think it w bad! We saw fireworks from our room since my ds 4 doesn't like the noise:). The front desk told us we could listen to the music on tv which we did. We all snuggled in bed watching the fireworks from our big window.....it was memorable.

Will write more later.

Sounds like your vacation is off to a great start. I usually go to the Disneyland every other Friday and I wish the line wait was 15 minutes. Enoy your visit. :thumbsup2

Hope you have a great trip!

I am so interested in how crowded the parks will be...we were there last year at this time and the wait times were low and many speculated that it was because of the heat. It will be very interesting to see how crowded it will be this week. I checked MouseWait times last night and they looked reasonable for a Summer night.

Anyhow, enjoy your time at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Cheers.

Thanks for sharing - sounds like a great trip already! Hope the fun continues! :)

Thanks for sharing, we were there a couple of weeks ago and attempted a daily report. Have fun

Blackjack delta, you inspired me to do this bc I loved rdg your report!

Please excuse the typos. I am learning to use the iPad.

I have to say that I think the crowds are very reasonable. It is very hot here now. We had magic mornings today and got there at about half way thru. We rode memo with no wait and then used our hotel fp to ride star tours. Excellent ride! At 9am, there was a 15 min wait time which was nothing. We also used hotel fp for grizzly river run but there was only a 15 min wait most of the morning. The only ride that has been consistently long (other than star tours) is toy story mania. We waited today about 10:30 or 11am for 30 min which was the lowest I have seen it all week. Again, we don't do the more popular roller coasters but we were able to do everything we wanted and sometimes twice.

Barely any wait for little mermaid and Peter pan has been consistently 20 min which a cm said was nothing. We ate at rainforestcafe last nite and had to wait 30 min for a table but the waitress's said it's been slow now.

I will write a complete trip report when I get back. Right now, we get to the parks at opening and have stayed until 3pmish and go swim at the awesome slides at the dl hotel and then do dinner in downtown Disney. We didn't go back to the parks at nite yesterday but not sure about tonight.

Take care.
