We are here-- BWV, AKV, then Vero!-- PICS added

Getting on the computer is not as fun when you are on vacation :)

Since I last posted, we have had a great time! We have been to all the parks, rode all the big rides and really enjoyed ourselves. It is hard to break yourself of the "commando" style of getting through the parks though. I have to keep telling myself, WE WILL BE BACK-- and quite soon too:)

We have eaten chicken salad wraps from the counter service at the clown pool-- we split one -- they are very filing and delicious. We had lunch at Peco Bills in MK-- great burgers and pulled pork. Dinner at LeCellier. We both had Salmon and it was great-- could have passed on the cheddar soup though.

Tonight dinner at California Grill and then over to MK for wishes.

Oh- BTW-- the weather has gotten a bit cooler-- but it is still hot!

Glad you are having a good time.... Welcome Home :flower3:

We are at VWL until Saturday... Then we are headed to Vero also. When do you get to Vero?

We will get to VERO on Monday.... Looking forward to sitting on the beach and reading my book!!

We had a FABULOUS dinner at California Grill--- probably the best food I have ever had at WDW. We decided against wishes and went to EMH at DHS. Honestly there were still long waits so probably should have stuck with Wishes-- oh well!

Tomorrow KTTK tour! Then the afternoon and evening are whatever we want to do. I will hopefully take more pics in the afternoon and get them posted. I honestly can't wait until AKV on Friday!! Looking forward the the savannah view !!!

WOW---- We are at AKV right now and boy do I LOVE it. We have a savannah view room! I love seeing the giraffes.... I feel like a little kid again. The room is great! Coming from BWV, it obviously is newer (can't wait to get a refurbed BWV room) and it seems so much bigger. Love having a flat screen and dvd player. I actually love having the combo of the two resorts in one vacation. At BWV it was more "hustle and bustle" and now I am happy to just hang out on the balcony. The pool (IMHO) is nothing great here at AKV, but nice. I miss the quiet pool at BWV!! Each resorts definitely have their positives and negatives, but AKV has one me over!! We walked over to Kidani, it is very nice. I hope to post some pics soon!

BTW... We did the KTTK tour and LOVED it.

Monday-- off to VERO!!

Looks like you are having a fantastic vacation. Your posts make me feel like i'm there with you. Have fun.

Enjoying your posts. Thanks for bringing it to us live!!

I am loving the pics of AKV. I have same opinion of BLT. I love it because it is close to MK and nice rooms, but it just is not my style. I just cannot put my finger on why it turns me off :confused3. Even though AKV is far from EVERYTHING that is why it makes me love it. I am at WDW, but still am able to feel like I am on vacation and able to relax.

I am waiting for my 11 month booking window to open up for mid June 2010 at AKV 2 BDRM SV lockoff. We will be there for both fathers day and my DS 4th birthday!!

Your pictures are amazing! I am so envious that you are there and not ME.;)

I love the look of BLT and can't wait to stay there. That's what I love about Disney. There is a resort for everyone. LOVE IT. :thumbsup2

Thank you for taking the time to post your beautiful pictures! You will love Vero, it is very relaxing! Have a great trip! :)

I just typed up a long post and then somehow it got lost--- jeesh that is annoying especially since there are beautiful animals right out my window that I am missing.

Short version then...

Ate at Sanaa--- it was GREAT!! Going to Wishes tonight. Pool day tomorrow and JIKO at night for dinner (my favorite!!).

Feel free to ask questions... my last post was much more detailed :(

Dealt with the AK buses for the first time tonight (we have been driving to the parks). Went to MK and both ways I was very pleased. Never waited more than 5 min. In fact on the way home we just missed a bus leaving and another one came within 5 min. It was packed and not everyone in line got on but they seemed to be coming consistently.

When we got on there were about three people from Kidani and when we were on our way back only about six got off. It is obvious that it is not open completely.

Wishes was great... first time I have seen it in 20 years. We were standing right under tinkerbell :)

The pool at Kidani looked almost empty! What time did you take the picture? i can't believe it wasn't crowded condidering the heat!

Great report. And glad that you like AKV. We just got back from a week at Kidani on Wednesday. Loved it there!

Enjoy the rest of your trip and thanks for taking the time to post.

It was early evening. It had just rained so that is probably why. Although it really does not seem busy (crowded) over there the couple of times we have been (pool, hotel, gift shops, restaurant, etc). Someone had said all the rooms are not available yet.

Kidani is only about 60% open at this point. The resort is due to be completely open by September 1. The pool was pretty crowded a couple of days when we were there, but not overly crowded.
