We are Here - 9/19/09

We arrived at MCO around 10:30 AM on 9/19. We went down to the Magical Express line, checked in, got in line A, got on the bus and were at CSR by 11:40. Room was ready so we stopped by, dropped the carry ons and headed to the MK for the day. It was in the 90s and felt every degree of it. It was crowded which was surpising being that it is mid Sept., which is supposed to be one of the slowest times of the year.
Pecos Bills was good for our lunch. Crystal Palace was just OK considering what you are paying. 18% tip for bringing beverages. That is robbery.
First Impressions- I do not like how far away our room is from the food court. That is too far to walk if you decide you want or need somthing to drink or a snack. My son went to the pool and said it was standing room only. Maybe some of these people will go home today.

Also wondering what section your room is in. Is it the Ranchos?

All is well except it is humid and hot as ****.
It is very hot and humid but at least the crowds are managable. I have seen a lot worse.
We are in the Ranchos almost across from the big pool.
Come on down. We will make room for you.

Some pointers.
If you are flying down be sure and bring your luggage key or fix the lock so it can not be locked. The genuises at TSA opened both of our bags and managed to lock one we had never had a key for. We had to get maintenance her to pry the bag open. That's a $100 shot. Engineering guy said he would get me some duct tape to close it up when we get ready to fly home. Wonder what TSA will think about that?
