We are heading back to the Fort!!!!!

At least I hope so. Didn't think we would get to this year. Made ressies today for November. Requested 1400 loop which is where we stayed our first two trips before it was converted to premium. (stayed premium 400 loop in 08) We didn't get to stay at the Fort last year and we really missed it. We still got to Disney but it just wasn't the same. The Fort is our Disney home.



Keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out and we can make it.

The fort is our Disney home also. Must make us neighbors. We are going back next month (30 days from today) and can't wait. We were lucky enough to have a trade show in Orlando and figured we would stay at FW instead of one of the show hotels. Came out better price-wise and we can bring the dogs so everyone is happy

We are also going down in November. Just like you we originally did not plan to go down this year but it seemed that we just HAD to work it into our budget so we crunched and crunched the numbers and made it work!! It's going to be a long wait isn't it?

That is part of ours but the major thing has been health problems and things seem to be improving on that front. Thank God!

We'll be there also, November 17-24.

We should get a November 2010 thread going. This will be our first FW trip as a family. I actually stayed in FW in 1991, but don't remember a lot.

We will be there over the week of Thanksgiving also. Our first year doing something besides cooking for family on Thanksgiving. Seemed kind of selfish at first, but sometimes you just have to do something for yourself. We have had family health problems with my parents for the last few years and my Mom in particular for the last few months. Seems like it will continue for a while and we are looking for an end of the year break. We have always wanted to travel for Thanksgiving someplace and we are excited to be at FW for that holiday week. We can't go far from home, but being at FW seems like you are a world away.

It will be nice for you to get away. Sometimes you just really need to get away from all the drama of life. What better place to do it then Fort Wilderness and WDW!
