Well we could not see green cheese ;)

Our last trip to DLP was summer 2008 so I am looking forward to seeing the 20th celebration and all the changes since our last trip.

We are off to Hotel Cheyenne in November hopefully catching the firework/bonfire for Halloween and then the start of Christmas season.

I will be asking lots of questions once it sinks in that we are doing WDW and DLP in the same year :dance3:

Exciting news Reid - as well as Dreams you'll have TSPL to explore! :thumbsup2

I am so glad that I have resisted the temptation to watch Dreams on YouTube . The comments on blogs etc have said this is the firework show that beats any Disney park for sheer emotion :goodvibes

You've got stronger willpower than me - I watched it six times that opening weekend! :rotfl2: But as I'd got up at silly o'clock to watch the live premiere of World of Color and seen how amazing that was there was no way I could wait until August to see it! I'm planning on watching it every night of our trip!

Fab news Reid, there have been many changes since you last went:goodvibes

Exciting stuff Reid, can't wait to hear what you think of the changes since 2008 for you and the troops :goodvibes.

I was going to give DLP a miss this year but have just seen the Cheyenne for £260 for 4 nights in december (1 adult + 1 child). As I already have a AP and by daughter will be <3 it would be a very cheap trip for our family of 4, especially if we drive down.

It's the best rate I've seen for a Disney hotel in a long time and it's probably too good to refuse!

Fab news Reid! :thumbsup2

We were last there autumn 2009 so we too will see some changes. Can't wait for the children to try TSPL in particular :goodvibes. And of course Dreams - if they can manage to stay awake for it! :lmao:

Lucky you going to WDW as well this year! We have it on our list for 2015 when DD2 will be 3 years older as we just feel she isn't ready for the scale/and the longer travel yet.

Great to hear that you are going back to DLP Reid. :goodvibes

But SO decadent going there AND to WDW in the same year!! :teeth:

Thanks for the kind comments.

Bank account will no doubt never recover but you only live once :good vibes
MIL/FIL and SIL and family are all coming too :)

Enjoying the feeling of decadence :thumbsup2

Congratulations, lucky you having two trips planned. :goodvibes

::yes::

I heard yesterday of three people I know of (who aren't connected in any way) who have all been diagnosed with life limiting conditions. It makes you want to grab every opportunity you can.
MIL/FIL and SIL and family are all coming too :)

Is this going to be their first visit to DLP?

Great new :thumbsup2 Loads of new things to explore. Lucky you going to WDW too - maybe my numbers will come up this week and I'll join you :lmao:

MIL/FIL have visited once before with us back when Walts did character breakfast :)

SIL have only ever visited WDW so they are looking forward to seeing the most beautiful Disney castle (my words :goodvibes )

Great news! I can imagine the excitement of walking down Main Street for the first time after so long an absence.:wizard: Well done to you for not watching any spoilers for Dreams. I didn't either and was so pleased I hadn't when I watched it for the first time, in fact I nearly burst with excitement! I am fortunate in visiting fairly often so still never watch YouTube clips or even video it myself so that every evening there is still just as amazing.

Sounds like a fantastic year for you, very best wishes. :goodvibes
