Wow, i am so excited! It looks like our dates will be Feb. 22-28th! Yelp, really soon and a spur of the moment thing for sure!
I have not booked it yet because i am waiting for DH to look over my plans but since we have talked about them all day on the phone I know it is a go!
This will be my first air plane ride
and I am a little scared!
Here is our group:
DH:36 years old NOT a fan of Disney at all!
Me: 24 years old
dd#1: 7 years old
dd#2: 3 years old
dd#3: 1 year old
We went to Disney last feb and it was a total disaster! So I am really a newbie at Disney. Here is what happened on our last trip and please pray for a better trip:
16 hour Drive from maryland to Disney went great except for a HUGE rock breaking my windsheild. Not a big deal I had car insurance, so it was fixed when we arrived. DH was in pain. His belly was hurting but we wrote it off as sitting for so long. Went to the hotel and checked in and went to sleep since we drove stright through leaving at 3 am.
Next day: Belly apin was worse but we went to AK and had a nice day. Cut it short and went to 1900 parkfare for dinner. had a great dinner went back to the hotel to sleep.
Next morning, Dh was in MAJOR pain. We decided to head to MK and take it easy. About an hour after getting there DH was in such bad pain he could not walk. Took 2 hours to get out of the park, 20 minutes to get back to the hotel and our car. Went to celebration hospital and waited 3 hours. Our dinner plans were at Chef mickey's so we decided to go to dinner and he would go back to the hospital after he dropped us off back at the hotel.
Next morning: Wake up to the phone ringing. He is being preped for surgery! He had a perferated bowl and needed an operation. Mind you, he had the car, so I was frantic! I called a cab to rush us to the hospital. We were waiting at the entrence to the Pop and the cab pulled up and said "NO WAY! 3 KIDS NO CARSEATS and pulled away! I started to cry and the Pop manager came over and offered to take us. LONG day so after a few hours we went back to the hotel and went to sleep.
Next morning DD then 2 started to run a fever. Went back to the hospital to visit DH when she started to moan and would not wake up. Rushed her downstairs 104 fever. Gave meds and IV and found out she had strep. Went back to say goodbye and went to the hotel to let DD rest.
Next morning wake up to see DD swollen and bright red and weezing. It was a reaction to the meds. Rushed back to the hosiptal waited 30 minutes before they gave meds for the reaction then waited 4 hours to be seen. Got new meds and we were off to visit DH. Stayed a few hours went for our ADR at Ohonnas and back to the hotel.
Next morning dd then 6 started to complain of ear pain. Looked and green gook was pouring out of her bright red ear! YUCK,. Took her to the hospital and found that she had a busted eardrum and got meds. Spent the day in the ER waiting to be seen went to see DH and went to the hotel ordered pizza and went to bed.
The rest of the week we spent doing pretty much the same things. hospital then pizza. Then we drove 15 hours home with my sick hubby!
SO PRAY FOR US THIS TRIP PLEASE!
We are flying from BWI airport to Orlando with the majic express picking us up. no more driving for me! I have not made ADR as of yet because i have to wait until this evening to book anything but I will update when I have them! i am hopeing for Ohannas again, 1900 parkfare, Pricess story book (I think that is what it is called) in Epcott and Chef Mickeys. I am will just trow something together for the rest of the days.
Will update soon! I am so excited and ready to start planning! If only DH could get off work NOW!
