So yesterday, booked a cruise on the new DREAM for May 2012!!! We are so excited! We have a stateroom with verandah on deck 7! I cannot wait, and it was great using points to do this!! So we will stay at the world M,T,W then cruise Th-Sun!!

We cannot wait!!!

Cool, we are contemplating on doing the same setup this October on the "Dream". Staying at BCV for 3days at the parks, then a 4day on the dream.

We've never ever did a cruise, so we have some issues there. =))

It looks like a lot of fun the more we view the pictures and video coming in on the disboards.

We are thinking of doing a Cat4 Family Deluxe Stateroom w/Verandah. We have enough points. DW is dying to do this....I'm a bit nervous.

You will love the Dream, don't hesitate. I have been on the Wonder and loved it and the Dream will be even better. The early reports indicate there are a few kinks but it's to be expected with a new ship and I'm sure by the time you go it will all be worked out. They do a great job of providing entertainment for all ages and interests, the ships are beautiful, and it is so relaxing instead of the hectic atmosphere at the parks.

Congrats!!!I am excited for you.
I want to cruise and my wife is slowly coming around. She is afraid it will be claustrophobic. If I get my way we will do a three night for starters and the rest of the week at DVC.

and have watched countless videos and tweets about the past 2 voyages! I am not too keen on Nassau, but castaway cay, we cannot wait!! And there is SO much to do on the ship. As for claustorphobic, I dont think it would be, its enormous! So much that folks didnt see the whole ship on the maiden 2 day cruise!! We cannot wait to try the nightclubs and AquaDuck!! And its pretty reasonable, we are a category 5C, deck 7 room with verandah and its 180 points for both

My DW has had absolutely 0 interest in cruising, but after watching all of the DREAM coverage on tv and online, she's starting to come around to the idea of doing it. Could be fun.

You'll have a blast. We just finished the Panama cruise and I can't wait until Nov to go on the Dream.

That was my story exactly. It took me 5 years to get my wife to try the cruise. We did a 3 night on the Wonder the end of October and then 5 days at SSR during Food and Wine. My wife loved the cruise. Said the 3 night was too short and now we are booked on the Dream for the DVC member cruise in September. Go for it, she will really enjoy it.:thumbsup2

I've been looking trying to decide our 2012 vacation also. I am sure you will love the Dream. We loved our cruise on the Magic.

May try and talk DH to renting out some points and paying cash. I figured the amount we would save would more than cover the cruise tips.

A very nice vacation to look forward to. I am happy for you!

Woo Hoo!!

I'm a huge fan of cruising but this November will be our first on DCL and I can't wait.

I've also just discovered all the great tips on the Cruise Line section of Disboards...check it out when you have time. There is even a post with a link to every single sailing on each ship, and so you can get to know your fellow cruisers before the sailing!

Happy Planning!
