After San Bernardino....which way to Dland?

should we go thru Rancho Cucamongo I10 to I15 South to 91 West to 57 South???

or

I10 thru Pomona to 57 South....this way looks better, but we can't remember how we went 3 yrs ago...

need help from those who drive these areas...is either way better?

we will be driving thru this area about 6-7pm on Thursday;) :goodvibes

We did the crazy mapquest route last year (i10, 60, 215, 91, 57) and got lost. While it maybe less mileage, it twists and turns and is confusing as heck. When we were leaving GCH, we told them what happened and they recommended the 57 to I10 to go home. It was much faster and easier. We did the route from here to DL in May I10 to 57S. Not necessarily the shortest, but it is so much easier and there is much less likelihood of getting lost.

We take I-10 West from Phoenix to Banning. At Banning, take the 60 West bound to Riverside. Then from the 60 at Riverside you take the 91 South to Anaheim. We then take the Harbor Blvd exit, turn left and head down Harbor until we get there. We love to see who the first one to spot the Matterhorn will be.

We have taken both of those routes and haven't had any problems on either. I believe the Rancho Cucamongo I10 to I15 South to 91 West to 57 South route has some construction going on, at lesat it did the last time we went though in April.

To my knowledge, at least as of last month the 60 through Moreno Valley still had some serious never-ending construction work, lotsa interchange stuff going on.
I'd take I-10 all the way to the 215 south to the 91 west. I can tell you that route is pretty good as of a week ago when I was driven (kicking and screaming:rolleyes: ) back to AZ.
From the 91 on I'm no help. I always go to my parents' house rather than straight to DL!

You're telling me. I think this stretch is in "Permaconstruction." It has been that way for years, especially where you exit the 60 to 91. Will they ever finish!!! ;)

We have gone this way 2-3 times and it was TERRIBLE traffic for us both times. We are going the other ways to completely AVOID Riverside and the contrstruction.;)

;) ;) we don't want to get lost;)

We are going to do the I10 to 57 route...thanks !! I don't mind a little longer drive to avoid traffic.
we have had it take 2 hrs to get from Riverside to Dland before....never ever again.

Well I'll tell ya we mapquested our route last month and we got so beyond lost and an hour out of the way! It was that darn 215!! When we finally stopped at a realtors office to get directions they told us they had a least 50 people in the last few months stop at their office because they were lost using mapquest.

I've heard yahoo maps or google maps is good.

Thank you so much for this thread! we are considering driving to DL in Oct and my husband was a kid the last time he went to DL and I'm from FL and have never driven to CA or anywhere west of Phoenix. I am so thankful for all this input as I'm sure if I hadn't bothered to look into this on Disboards we'd have ended up lost thanks to Mapquest like everybody else!

We always go this way and its perfect. Now that they finished the 91 South Exit you dont even cross traffic any more. I have been this way about 10 to 12 times now and we love finding Disneyland too as we enter. FYI once you exit on Harbor its only 3 miles to Disneyland.
