Before we left we had no tickets we had to collect at airport, we did this without any problem what so ever just gave our name they handed over tickets asked girl if she wanted to see paper work she said no its fine as easy as that.
We got back on Saturday with all flights being on time infact return flight arrived in Glasgow 30 mins early ! We flew with TC & have to say out going flight was great infact the best economy flight we have been on ! DS 2 was ace on both flights stickers, colouring books, story books etc worked brilliantly to pass the time bought & took portable DVD player & only used it for about 20 mins on out going flight not at all on return flight.
MH transportation was our pick up at Sanford & they were there waiting for us big sign with name on very clean mini bus fantastic driver had grocery shop at Publix great supermarket very clean.
Arrived SSR did not get apartment in any of the areas we requested or on the floor we would have liked asked if there was anything available that had some of our requests what do you know got apartment in Congress Park, top floor with view of DTD exactly what i had asked for !!!
Collected cot from Bell Services it had been delivered fron A BABY'S BEST FRIEND, Bell services delivered it and luggage to room very quickly we walked to room as we wanted to stretch our legs after sitting so long. After giving bell boy tip we set about assembling cot not quiet the 10 mins they quote but 30 mins later we had it all built up it was a lovely big cot bigger than his cot at home & he slept well in it worth the money.Think it took us so long to build it as we were tired & had no eletric in bedroom to see instructions, maintinance fixed this within the hour. Well got to go for now as DS is wrecking my house but will write more later.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY MY TICKER FOR HOLIDAY PAST IS STILL THERE AND HOW DO I REMOVE IT, THE LUMPY THE ELEPHANT ONE !!!!!

Welcome home, can't wait to hear more.

To remove your countdown you need to go into your "User CP" at the top of the page and then click "Edit Signature" then just remove the link in the box that is for the Lumpy countdown - clear as mud? :)

Welcome home.

Goto 'user CP' in the tabs at top left of the page, then click on 'edit signature' and scroll down to the edit box. Highlight and delete the url for the ticker you want to remove.

Thanks for all the welcome homes ! Got rid of ticker !!!
We had a good holiday although tiring the sun shine was fantastic & exhausting at the same time & with a 2yr old was slightly concerned that he would dehydrate, get burnt or starve as he was off his food with the heat (normal mother concerns)but no he survived & had a good time ate loads of fruit, made sure he drank plenty(we took some orange squash over with us just wrapped in bubble wrap & black bag) & returned to apartment for a couple of hours in afternoon to let him run around. The parks seemed to be really busy the 2nd week dont know if this was because the school holidays in UK or what although loads of USA kids too.
Was glad I had booked some meals in advance, but did not think the dinning was any busier than normal but then we were dinning no later than 6.30 with Robbie, maybe later it would have been hard to get somewhere.Mama Melroses was ace first time there for us & we really enjoyed it they were good with Robbie asked for bowl of tomato's for him as the veg was not something he would eat got huge of baby plum tomato's enough for next day !! asked for grapes instead of melon in fruit salad again huge bowl, we enjoyed it so much we are going to book it for Jan hol. Most places were good to Robbie we did the Crysal Palace for his Birthday it was ace the characters the food we met up with my DSIL &family who flew over 5 days before we came home & they joined us was really good day.
Any Mums wondering about taking juice for little ones on flights took 5 beakers no problem just had to taste have to admit 2 had pure orange squash.!! But this was to do us at airport, on flight & until we got unpacked in SSR.
Will add to this again later as Robie is gettin hungry think it might be time for lunch.....

Welcome home. Looking forward to hearing more. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a great trip!

Thanks for all your observations - all very helpful (and fascinating :goodvibes ). Welcome home! :thumbsup2

Just wanted to say welcome home. Glad you were impressed with abbf as we are using them on our upcoming trip

We really were impressed the cot was big, bit like cot bed size enough room for Robbie & all the new soft toys he got this holiday plus his normal teddy which i had brought from home which kind of got the heave ho, what with all these new ones. Bedding was very cute Winnie the Pooh you got it all clean in plastic wrapping which you kept & just put it back into for returning. Was really easy we will use them again in Jan. DH says easy to put up cot now he knows how.!!  Cost about £90 for 2 wks as exchange rate is not very good & although we booked it when it was not to bad they do not take payment off till, i think 7 days before arrival incase you want to cancel !!
Hope you have great Holiday:banana:

Hope you have a good flight & holiday if your like me you will be anxious about flight & arrive & wonder what you were fretting about, we did give Robbie some medised about 1 to 1 1/2 hours before landing for his ears and it seemed to work.
He was sleeping for Sanford touch down & woke up to be surrounded by all these strange people waiting to go through immigration screamed the place down so they brought us to the front passing some 100 or so people & sent us on the way quickly DH says next time we go may nip him in que as we got through so quick:rotfl: :rotfl: Although it seemed that everyone with little one was put through luggage screening & asked if they were carrying food.!!But no problems we had bottles juice & snack items crisps, biscuits for Robbie they just screened & waved us through.

Thanks for this, we did a trip to New Zealand when Cullen was 10 months old it was ok, luckily I am breast feeding Seth so I am anticipating he will feed for a bit and hopefully go asleep. With Cullen he fed (used me for comfort) for nearly a whole 12 hour flight long time to have your B**bs out LOL. I have had to pack food for the kids, due to the hit and miss policy Virgin seems to have with kids meals. Also Cullen has some allergies so I need to have something in reserve just in case the meal they do it is not suitable.

I have plenty of toys, snacks, books etc etc and Cullen likes TV so that will keep him entertained for a bit. Seth on the other hand does not sit still, so while I know it annoys people I think we will be following him crawl up and down the isle, prefferable to him screaming I think ?????

Hi ,
Welcome home ! :flower3:
Pleased to hear you had a great trip . Even more pleased to hear you were satisfied with ABBF - you never know when you recommend something to someone if it is going to be as good as it has been for yourself .
My Hubby was quicker second time around assembling the cot , we found the cots brilliant , and well worth the money .
Sam x
