We are back...with reviews and a few pics!!

So you were the guinea pig? We were the first cake set up in Palo's private room...something they won't allow again so maybe I was a FAIL test run! :rotfl:

I have only been in the Living Seas during the daylight, so I didn't think about it being dark. Conservation St looks like it was a big space and plenty of room to have fun...and I bet it was much warmer!

Did they let you take the train?

Lol I guess we were! Unfortunately we didn't get to take the train as they brought us in the back way (where our Limo driver got LOST!)

It was a very large space but it was nice because it allowed our tables to be set up on one side, bar in another corner, food in another and we still had space for a dance floor and for the kids to run around!

The photos look lovely!

Thank you!!!

I was telling my DF about your wedding on our commute in to work today and he thought it was sooooo cool that you got to use Conservation Station! His first question was "ohhhhh, did they get to take the train!?" :rotfl:

Considering the weather, that probably wouldn't have been a very comfortable ride, so backstage drop off probably was for the best anyway.

I'm really glad that everything worked out for you! Congrats again! :thumbsup2

Lol don't think it didn't cross my mind to ask...but I figured since we had to hire the motorcoach that we would be arriving backstage. Lol so funny your Df had the same comment!!

My MIL just sent me a few more pictures and I wanted to share this one...one of my absolute favorites!!!

Thanks!! My dad did a pretty good job :) He had just bought a new camera before the trip so I think he went a little nuts testing it out:rotfl:

Lol sorry...couldn't help it. I'm going to work on uploading our pics tonight but to be honest, things were so crazy I'm not sure I have that many and who wants to read a TR without pictures?? I might post about the day before and day of but I haven't decided yet.

Thank you!!

Tell me about it! COLD!!!! The dessert party was the worst...seriously like 50 and SO windy!!!

Apparently Conservation Station has never been used for a reception venue before us, but it has been used for other events, so I guess it's an option!!

And thanks about the dress...it was so comfy and fun to wear!! You should think about getting it!

LOL! That pouting face is perfect! :rotfl: I don't know, I enjoy trip reports even if they have very few photos. But maybe I'm an oddball.

That picture is wonderful!!! You two are so cute. Which layer/flavor of cake did you use for that part?

I would still read a TR without a ton of pictures. :) I've been reading since you got engaged (I don't always post), so I want to get your thoughts on everything (plus, I'm nosey).

You owe it to your faithful followers.

That picture is cute! Minnie looks like she is on pins and needles!

and Mmm.. I love almond cake! Disney did such a good job on ours. Did you have chocolate sauce for drizzle?

Welcome back Mandy! Congratulations on being married!!! I'm so glad everything turned out great despite the cold weather. All of your pictures look amazing!

yay amanda! everything looks great! I love your hair with that hair piece and the flower on your dress. very vintage and cool looking. im glad conservation station worked out for you guys. were you able to walk over to the petting zoo at all? not that you would really want to in your wedding dress

i also had major transportation problems. we hired cabs to bring our guests to the DP and only 1 driver out of the 8 cabs we had didn't get lost. so everyone was about an hour late which was really annoying. i hate Mears, i have had numerous problems with them while down in disney.

Lol I'll keep that in mind ;)

Minnie and Mickey were too cute...they really got into it. My favorite picture is one where Mickey and Minnie are kissing in the foreground and we are kissing in the background. Not sure who got a picture of it though.

Love it! You're cake and reception location are so unique :)
Thanks!

Thank you!! Everything did turn out great...but I'm not sure it would have if it weren't for my Mom! She was wonderful and helped take a lot of my stress away!

Congratulations! The pictures look beautiful!
Thank you!

Just wanted to say Happy One-Week as a married lady!! :bride:
:goodvibes Lol Thanks!

Wow that's interesting that I'm not the only one. We didn't end up being very late. In order to get backstage at AK you have to drive like you are going ot the Lodge, but before you get there you hang a right. I knew this ahead of time so when I saw the driver head through the toll booth at Ak...I knew we were in trouble. Eric loving refers to that drive as the AK 500:lmao:

We didn't head over to the petting zoo, the whole thing was inside. BUT we did get to watch some of the animals on the monitors as they were all in there night barns for the evening!

You looked beautiful (love your dress!) and so in love. I am happy for you. :goodvibes
Thank you so much!

Lauren is on her way home today so hopefully there are some more pictures on their way! Probably not for a week or so depending on how busy she is.
