It was a very, very emotional stay for me and I will post a detailed trip report tomorrow.

Welcome back, I look forward to reading more about your trip:goodvibes

welcome back! why was it a low to stay in a lodge?

Welcome back! Glad to hear the lows were hard to find, we stayed at Sl last year and while not in a lodge........it just didn't do anything for us?? Thats not to say that I would ever complain [there was absolutely nothing to complain about!] but it just did nothing for us at all :confused3
Look forward to the TR :goodvibes

Welcome back :wave2:. Glad you had mainly highs! What was wrong with the lodge, was it the distance? We have just got back too, staying at the Cheyenne and as we were walking back I said to DH that I would be pretty put out if we were put in the (Sequoia) lodge that almost reaches the Santa Fe. I couldn't see the point of paying all that extra to be so far away from the facilities.

I love the SL but we have only had Montana rooms and like bonhoga we think the Cheyenne is super too and great value.

Its our first time to dlp in June and we have booked the sequoia in one of the lodges - bit nervous now, is there any particular location within the grounds we should be requesting to be nearer things? Have no idea of the setup having never been. But didnt want to pay the extra for the Montana rooms if poss.

Welcome back, glad to hear you have a fab time... waiting to hear more tomorrow...:goodvibes

Welcome back! I assume the APs worked perfectly?

Also a bit worried now about the Sequoia, booked to stay in one of the lodges in May...

So...here I am again back at my office.

The Disney blues is very heavy this time. :sad1:

Please no worry about my personal low at the SQL Lodges.

Last year we stayed inside the main building and we liked to walk around without leaving it. The kids could go to the shop alone and if a character appears we simply rushed into our hotel room to get the autograph books. It was easier.

Now we stayed at the Yellowstone Lodge which is the nearest Lodge to the main building. It was ok and the walking distance was not more than 5 minutes but somehow we did not like it. I would try to ask for a room there because the other lodges seems too far away.

I think the rooms are a little bit smaller too. Am I right ?

But as I mentioned before....no worries for those who will stay there in the near future. It´s still a great place to be !!

The AP works brilliant and they saved us a lot of money.

At this moment I´m writing my trip report and will post it soon.....

:thumbsup2
